The level of customer service I received at this store today from the cashier to the manager was horrible. There was a large sign that an item was on sale. They refused to honor the price because of the TINY fine print that says “Your Price” not included. Customers deserve to know the what is included/not included without trying to figure it out while visiting the store. But WORSE, was the annoyance and attitude from all the employees involved when I questioned this. I have bought several items with this label and the discount always applies. No worries, I can purchase from Amazon WITHOUT dealing with rude employees.

Several times recently I’ve gone to pick up something on “sale” to find out the item was not on sale after walking through the store and standing in line. No customer wants to learn all the nuances to your sales. If candles are on sale, and you place certain ones in multiple locations to make sure they never go on sale, that is done on purpose. Last time it was “oh these are under 5 dollars. Anything under 5 dollars isn’t part of the sale.” Usually at least the workers are nice. An older white lady at the register today couldn’t even try and empathize with my frustration and tried to rush me while I was trying to decide what to do. Needless to say I left without buying anything. I will never step foot in HL again. Especially not this location. It isn’t worth my time anymore.
