Everyone that works in this location has always been very helpful with anglo questions. I just had a plate lunch from there for $9. while I was ordering thirty tamales for a party.

Oh, Mercado is a great store. The staff are really friendly and the store has hard to find Latin food items and meats. The chorizo is out of this world. Also, if you're lucky, the taco stand out, front will be open and you can have authentic tacos, not the gringo, kind that you usually find. Also, check out Maria's jewelry store inside. She is super friendly and has amazing jewelry that you can't find in other places and great deals on cologne and perfume. She is a real style setter.

This is a great supermarket for Spanish/Mexican cuisine. The meat market is excellent and has great prices. They Carry all the hard to find ingredients for your favorite dishes.

Bread was great! (that is the only thing we bought)There was a small section outside the store and 2 guys were cooking and selling tacos. If you go there, be aware because he says $2.00 first, but when he finish cooking and give it to you, he will say $3.00. I would record next time.
