I came in yesterday around 5 PM. The cashier was tattooed up, young girl. I am standing there with my purchase and she is on her phone texting. My suggestion…ditch the phones when working, very rude to keep customer waiting so you can do a personal text on company time.

I will never return to this DG on Tyler Rd in Bluff Park. I went to return 2 items. One had a receipt,and I couldn't find the receipt for the other. The employee refused to take back the item with the receipt saying that the item was purchased too long ago. It was less than 60 days. she stated that the return window was 2 weeks. She refunded my non-receipted item on a gift card. Lateri looked up their return policy on the DG website- it was 90 days. I went back to the store and told the same employeee that and showed her the policy on my phone. She started getting mad, saying that she did not have to take the item back since it was purchased out of state and that she could refuse the return. I asked for the manager and she said that she was the manager. Then she basically accused me of having an attitude and asked me to take my return to a different store. When I asked her name and threatened to call corporate on her- she did seem to calm down. But in the end, i was still not able to make the return because the item was paid with my husbands credit card and I did not have that with me. I will never return to this store! poor customer service, and a pretty poorly kept store with poorly organized shelves.

It's a dollar general: the prices are cheap, the store is a complete mess, and the employees don't really know where anything is. But that's the charm of it all. The employees were really nice though that checked us out.

Management at this store don’t know what they’re doing . They make up things as they go , they don’t follow the same rules as other dollar general’s do , and the store isn’t as clean as it could be . Sometimes customers have to wait long periods of time due to no one being in the front . Black manager is weird always watching people while doing the self check out , isn’t that the whole purpose of a camera being on the self check out . The reason I shop here is because of how convenient it is , but geesh better workers are needed .

I’ve been to this location several times and the doors have been locked during hours of supposed operation. Today I can at 5:30 and the doors were locked. I sat in the parking lot waiting for over 15 minutes and watched at least 13 customers have to turn around and leave.

This department store is definitely convenience oriented. They have a hard time keeping the store straight and in stock but the employees are helpful and friendly and it is much easier to access than a target or a Walmart or something of that nature. When you shop here expect reality and don't blast them for not being Something they are never intended to be, like the aforementioned huge department stores. Pull into a parking space within 100 feet of the front door, walk in, get your items, get checked out, get yourself back in the car and go home. Thank you for reading my review!

The staff in this dollar general are always pleasant and nice. Hard to find these days. The store is clean and reasonably kept tidy. A couple of times they needed to stock the shelves but for the most part it's always in order. My favorite location to go to.

Went there today 9/11/22 and this store was FILTHY!! And, so much stuff strewn everywhere and no room to walk down the aisles! I never seen Bluff Park DG this bad! And, the front entrance door was broken walking in. Never again! I’ll go back to ordering online from Amazon!!
