I banked with Truist, formerly BB&T, now for over twelve years. The customer service has been great with the regular deposit accounts as well as with our house purchase. I've had great experiences in the branches, and the online banking is well-designed. Their rates are competitive. The bankers have been helpful. It's a well-established bank. I highly recommend them.

I have been on 2 different phones with these people for 2 days . When they finally answer the phone they put me on hold for 45+minutes.. i am sick of it with these banks no help why are you all at work?

My husband and I have been banking here for several years how and there is no absolutely no perks. My checkcard was stolen and Ms. Smead at the Hoover branch didn't even try to help me on the two 5 dollar fees charged for the replacement cards. She just said yes there is a fee. I said this isn't right and was not told I would be charged a fee. Also, soon after I reported my card stolen, my husbands checkcard stopped working. They placed a freeze/block on it. We did not receive any calls or texts regarding his checkcard. So we went ahead and closed his out and ordered a new one. She didn't even bother to ask for my name or any information to look into my account on this matter. They right out don't care and very rude and unprofessional. I said, we will be closing out our account. She said that's fine, just come by the branch to do so.
