I made an appointment to bath my furbaby here. At this particular location, you only pay $16 for an hour during week. TWD, provides EVERYTHING you need. Just bring your pet. Customer service was amazing!! They are so sweet! And, will even give your furbaby a treat afterwards.

I was visiting Birmingham and found this wonderful place for quality food for my mutt Mr. Biscuit! Alison and the entire staff were more than helpful and super friendly. I wish I could take this place back to Portland with me. Highly recommended!

I love The Whole Dog Market, and so does my dog! The staff is so friendly and they recognize us when we come in. I love their selection of treats at an affordable price. I always get my dog a pig snout and ear when we go. Great store; I highly recommend taking your furry little friends there.

IT'S ALL ABOUT THAT PUG LIFE! My dog, Franklin lives with my parents in Florida, but that does not mean I don't still love, care and think about him. He is the cutest little thing. His birthday was a couple weeks back, but I was unable at the time to get him a gift. I had my eye on a few things, but it was not feasible for me to get them at that time. I have passed by the Whole Dog Market many of times, but I had not yet been inside. It is located on main strip in Homewood right next smack in the middle of Alabama Goods and Penzy's spices. When I first came in I noticed a lot of the various items that they we selling were of the same brands that my parents use when taking care of Franklin. He typically gets two table spoons of Goats Milk in the mornings before his morning walks. It's like probiotics for dogs. I looked around because I wanted to get him something that looks like a toy, but could also do some good training for him. I found something that was similar tot what I was looking for. Its like a dog bowl but its a game that he can take part different levels of the toy to get all of the treats with. My parents give me Franklin updates when ever we speak and they have been telling me he's been a bad boy lately (digging) and doing things he typically did not do in his younger years. So I think I am going to go back for this toy. Overall, this is a great dog mart. There is a lot of variety inside. Toys, treats, food, leashes too. They even do grooming too! The four star rating is mainly for the customer service which I wish had been better. When I was ready to check out, the lady was on the phone but did not pay attention to the fact that I was standing there. It would have been nice if she had said "give me a minute" as she was on the phone but she didn't acknowledge my presence. When she got off the phone I caught the vibe that she was not in the mood to help so I told her I would be back. I will come back, maybe on a week day and not so much on a weekend.

I went to The Whole Dog to get some food for my two senior dogs (a Frenchie and a mini poodle). I told them that I had always gotten Iams from the grocery store, but that I needed to get something with pumpkin in it for my Frenchie for added fiber. They were so knowledgeable and helpful! I went in lost not knowing what to look for, but I went home with the best food for my dogs and they LOVE IT!
