It’s my 3rd year here and the best part is the maintenance team as everyone has noted. I haven’t had many experiences with the office bc my calls usually go to voicemail, I can’t say that I've had many follow ups. I complete Maintenance request online and someone is usually here within 24hours or less, they are always nice and I hope the office knows how they are the glue to this whole place. As for the building the walls are paper THIN! I literally hear every step my upstairs neighbor makes who walks/stomps around all day! I also stay on the 1st floor and all the stumping up the steps can be a lot as well. I would recommend staying on the 2nd floor to fully enjoy your stay. I Haven’t had many issues with pest as that was my biggest non negotiable. This will probably be my last year but I have lived comfortably so it served its purpose. .

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!....The office staff is professional, attentive, and patient. The maintenance team... especially Tim and Dennis are punctual, polite, and precise. The grounds are well maintained and I've never felt safer. These people are really doing it RIGHT?

There’s only two great things about this place. The maintenance staff and the location. If you love the smell of other peoples weed, having mold, having outdated broken appliances, terrible neighbors, and getting your vehicle scratched to hell for no reason and no one helping you with any of it or caring, this is the place for you. You’ll be overcharged for something you could get in Eastlake or North Birmingham. Don’t be fooled! It’s ghetto and half the people that live there don’t have a job but I sure do and pay the Homewood price. Awful is an understatement.

The property itself is really nice, the way you have to go inside to get to your apartment adds a safe feeling, this will be my first apartment so I was very clueless about the whole process but Tiffany did a great job at walking me through everything and explaining everything to me very well she was very nice. Only downside is I can't view the unit just yet due to a previous tenant still being there but I was told I could view it a little closer to my move in date. Other than that everything about this place is nice I cant wait to move in next month !!

Roaches EVERYWHERE. In my coffeemaker. In my dish cabinet. All over the place. Pest control doesn’t keep them away, no matter how many times they sprayed. Dingy hallways, no lights in the living room, shower never felt clean no matter how many times I scrubbed. The walls were so thin we could hear entire conversations in the hallway. We had to sign the lease without seeing our actual unit or we never would’ve signed. I’m giving an extra star for the office and maintenance staff. They were wonderful, helpful, and fast. The apartments themselves are disgusting. We broke our lease early just because we couldn’t stand it anymore. We were told our rent would be 1270 with amenities, but our rent was always over $1400 because of the gigantic water bill that made no sense. Not to mention utilities were INSANE, between $200-250 a month, due to poor insulation. Our last month (June) ended with a $250 utility bill. For one month. In a two bedroom apartment. We moved to an apartment that costs $1700 a month and is much much much MUCH nicer and our bank account hasn’t noticed the difference. Not to mention allllll my pets died. All of them. Within 6 months. I don’t know if the water is poisoned or what. Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but my two cats, my lizard, and my pregnancy didn’t survive the abbey. There was always buzzing sounds, constantly hearing electricity that nearly drove me insane. The floors - which were new - were so slanted my husband and I both tripped several times. Office staff / maintenance is top notch, but the apartments are slums.

Amazing facility. Beyond pleased with my experience with the office staff. The property manager, Kim, will always return calls and emails in a timely manner. You could not ask for a better place to call home.
