“I started going to the Shades Valley Y following my marriage in 2006. The Shades Valley Y is a great place for families. My children have grown up there from the daycare through their conditioning training for their high school sports. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and have become our extended family. So if you’re looking for a healthy outlet for yourself or your family you should definitely check it out.”

“Girl's Inc of Central Alabama is ran and funded by phenomenal people, staff, volunteers, board members and leadership alike. Jalencia and Rauslyn are wonderful, and so is the rest of the staff, especially the summer programming. It's worth every penny, and they offer scholarships for folks who need help paying. They offer holistic and supplemental curriculum to program participants, such as strategies for coping with emotional stress, learning to code, intro to entrepreneurship, and leadership skills development. Girl's Inc of Central Alabama is one of Alabama's best assets. Thank you for all you do, and for the love you pour into your work.”

“It was great! I was worried when I didn’t come to Sunday School, Ms Amy’d think Jackson had kicked me. I was worried Ms Stephanie would even go far as to ground the kids”

“The Y in every city offer the best classes when people are at work yet charge upwards of 60.00 a month for membership. I have asked repeatedly in the past y the y caters to stay at home moms with the class schedules. No real answer but I do notice that during the day most of the gyms are populated with stay at home moms. Must be nice to be able to stay at home everyday and go to the gym while the working folks pay high monthly rates and have to take leave from work to go to a Y class.”

“Ive been a member of YMCA from Texas to Tennessee. When I was. kid I took every level of swimming lessons. As a college kid I worked in the afterschool program to supplement my education. When I was training for the Ironman Triathlon, I spent many rainy days in the cardio section. All that to say, I know a well managed YMCA when I see one. Greystone YMCA is outstanding. The equipment is up to date and clean. The pool is safe and fun with friendly life guards. When I had to have knee surgery and did not check in to the Y for a few weeks, coach Ruby called to check on me. That phone call really encouraged me during my rehab. Greystone YMCA is the best location I have ever been a member. If you are considering a membership , I say go for it! You will feel better even if all you ever do is go in and walk the indoor track. Who knows, you might get motivated to join an activity class or play tennis or basketball. This could be your year to get healthy. I hope this review conveys my positive endorsement. Givon Wayne”

“Katherine Zobre has been incredibly helpful, supportive, instructive, and empowering. I have attended two events run by her as well as an "office hours" meeting, and she is a gem! Before Katherine, my interaction with Innovation Depot would rate 3 star, at best.”
