Alabama Booksmith is a lovely bookstore that is probably the best bookshop in the world. It is a gem where all books are signed by their authors and most are first editions, sold amazingly at cover or dust jacket prices. The mostly modern collection is very neatly displayed and accessible with a great selection of authors. The service and care are honestly unmatched and the experience is wonderfully perfect. Communication is prompt, informative, and excellent, with updates every step of the process. Orders ship quickly and arrive fast. The packaging is perfect, with books very well protected in bubble wrap and a special cardboard box to prevent damage. The books arrive in great condition, even better than expected. The staff is happy and could not be nicer, offering kind explanations and helpful suggestions. For anyone who likes signed books, this is an awesome store with amazing integrity.

I have ordered signed books from Alabama Booksmith twice now, and I'm so impressed! The books come with a slip saying that the signatures have been authenticated, the communication about shipping through Jake is prompt and informative, and the books come in great condition FAST! They're awesome!!!!

If you like signed books, stop in here. The mostly modern collection is very neatly displayed and accessible with a great selection of authors. And you're paying dust jacket price for a signed copy... pretty cool.
