Found what i needed used self checkout as there was no employee in sight. Other customers were asking the Pepsi delivery guys where things were shelves were pretty bare.

They reopened with a knew store and they have some of the friendliest staff in all the stores I've been to thus far .

Honestly, I only go there because of the convenience. They are the rudest and I mean rudest bunch of "girls" that I have ever seen. They are never friendly and when they are stocking shelves they act like it is an inconvenience to "check you out". When they check you out, you cannot see what price you are being charged. Only the self check out allows you to see. The last two times I have been over charged on the same item twice. The first time, the manager acted like I had majorly inconvenienced her. The second time I did not know until I got home and I was overcharged on three items. They are the worst and shopping there is like being in a scene from "mean girls". Also, I have a friend that feels and says the same .

Giving the benefit of a doubt , purchased some ground beef for tacos. Best by date was 7/28, purchased this on 7/15 and opened on 7/17. To say it was rancid is an understatement. I would be cautious of purchasing anything "fresh" or at least busting the seal on it before you leave so you can get a refund.

Colton did an excellent jobHe is always friendly and knowledgeable about the products they sell and can always answer any questions I have . He is courteous and very careful to wrap my breakable items so that they do not get damaged on the way home. He is genuinely caring and concerned about doing a good job.I give Colton and this Dollar General in East Point 5 starsMerry Christmas

Holly Pond I n 278 is awesome . They have a great manager, Amanda. The girls are all awesome, great, friendly and very helpful. I love this place and these women . If everyone had a crew like this it would make the world a lot better place . Keep up the awesome job ladies ,
