Maraella Vineyards and Winery: A Scenic Oasis for Wine Enthusiasts After a retirement trip to the wineries of Napa and Sonoma, Jim Lee's dream to start a vineyard could not be squelched. Now, 15 years later, those vines have taken root in the Hokes Bluff soil, and the name Maraella is known for their fine wines. Endowed with several awards from wine enthusiasts from New York to California, the Maraella wines are something special to be enjoyed by generations for generations to come. Whether you're on the estate for a wine tasting or you're picking a few of their bottles online to ship for your wine-enthusiast family members, visitors are confident they'll love every sip. The winery boasts a clean and very relaxing atmosphere, with ample outdoor seating, indoor tables, and a welcoming wine tasting bar. The staff is known for their professionalism, hospitality, and deep knowledge of the winery's history and wines. Maraella Vineyards and Winery is a must-visit destination for wine lovers, offering a range of tastings, from $1 per sip to a $5 signature port. The winery is also military and veteran friendly, adding to its charm and appeal. With a gourmet food truck on-site and a hidden gem tucked away in the foothills of the Appalachia Mountains, Maraella Vineyards and Winery is a true oasis for wine enthusiasts.
Very quaint, beautiful winery. Enjoyed the tastings made available. Most were muscadine based. Enjoyed the visit thoroughly

I stopped by after leaving Noccalula Falls, SP. I highly recommend stopping by, and if you are lucky, you may get to have a conversation with the owner. His knowledge of the area's history, heritage, and current events is fascinating. For those visiting the park, it's just a short ride from the campground.
