We've used Brittany at Serenity Salon & Spa for almost nine years and have always been very happy with the haircuts (me) and cuts and color (my wife) we've received. Brittany is always cheerful and bubbly which makes our experiences with her so very positive. Something that really stands out to me is that Brittany treats everyone with that same happy, positive and courteous manner that we've seen. She and her staff have always been very professional and welcoming. We highly recommend them!

Absolutely thrilled to share my experience after receiving a facial from Chandler at Serenity Salon and Spa!
Firstly, let's talk about ambiance. The space was aesthetically pleasing, exuding tranquility and sophistication. Soft, soothing music played in the background, with dim lighting that was comfortable on my eyes. I instantly felt all the stress I carried in with me just melt away.
As for the facial itself, it was nothing short of divine. Chandler's expertise was shone through every step of the process. She took her time and analyzed my skin carefully, tailoring the treatment to address my specific concerns. I have struggled with the pores on my nose for so long without any hope of them ever getting better. Chandler was able to notice this and fixed them right up making sure to prep my face before extracting and cleaning the pores. Her gentle touch and attention to detail was truly remarkable.
Throughout the facial, I felt completely pampered and cared for more than ever before. Each product used felt luxurious and of the highest quality, leaving my skin feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and positively glowing. Chandler explained each product before applying them making sure that I was comfortable and understanding of what products do what. She also provided valuable insights into skincare routines and tips for maintaining that post-facial radiance.
What truly set this experience apart was her genuine passion for the craft. Their dedication to providing the highest level of service was evident in every aspect of the treatment. Not only did she deliver exceptional results, but also created a warm and welcoming environment where I felt valued as a client.

I have been getting my hair done by Brittany for years but today I had a 90-minute facial by Chandler and it was amazing. Chandler has a very calming presence and was very attentive to my skin. My 90-minute facial not only included a very thorough facial but also a foot bath as well as a hand, shoulder/neck, and scalp massage. In the end my skin was glowing and I felt very relaxed. I have already booked my next appointment with Chandler.

Brittany has been my hair stylist for years and she just "knows" what I need and always appreciates your HONEST opinion. If you need something tweaked... she remembers, and has ALL my info written down or filed somewhere! I love my hair and always feel beautiful when I leave!

This is the worst hair salon near Birmingham Alabama! I am a blonde and after I told them I needed blonde highlights they switched my words around and I came out Ash! They are very disrespectful and didn’t give me any money back! I paid $150! They are not worth your money!!!!!

[TL;DR: This place is amazing, the staff is wonderful, the prices will not break your wallet!]I went here because of a chance encounter with a client who said she liked my hair color. It was mostly washed out, but I took the compliment and the suggestion to try getting it redone at Serenity.BEST DECISION EVER!!!The staff here are SO sweet, and incredibly professional. Grace was my main stylist, and Vanessa (I'll kick myself if I got that wrong) helped double-team my color. Grace did tell me they don't USUALLY do a ton of "fashion colors", but you would NEVER know that!!I have a ton of hair (thick, long, multiple levels of curls and damage) and so with bleach and color it took 4.5 hours to do a teal and purple "galaxy-inspired" theme. Grace was incredibly patient, meticulous, and made sure I was as comfortable as possible throughout the entire experience.The salon itself was so cute and clean! The overall ambiance was entirely relaxing - I was even surprised with an amazing hot towel hand massage. It was the best I've ever been treated! Grace was so excited for me and wanted to see how my color turned out the next day (I insisted on leaving wearing a conditioning treatment I could sleep in lol). I came back to show her her wonderful handiwork, and it was so much fun! We couldn't stop beaming, and she took some pictures for their portfolio.Something important to me was the whole mask situation. Masks aren't REQUIRED here, but they will wear them (and offer you one too) if that is YOUR preference. I have issues with my immune system, so I chose to go with masks; but it wasn't a big deal. They were SO very accommodating!I don't think I could say enough good things about my first experience here! Everything was also very affordable for me! I already have my next appointment set up!

I was recommended this salon by a friend and I’m so glad that they recommended them and that I decided to book an appointment for yesterday evening. If I could give less than 1 star I would! I normally do not feel the need to write business reviews, but in this case I cannot remain quiet. While on my lunch break on 12/22, I booked an appointment and paid online for a haircut for 6 pm. I called the salon shortly after to tell them I got off work at 6 and would be a few minutes late and they said that would be fine. Come 6:15, I am in traffic on the road right before pulling into their parking lot and I call them to tell them I am about to be there and they tell me I am too late and will have to reschedule. Was seconds away from being in their parking lot. Not only was I told I would receive a refund by the front desk concierge when I said I would not reschedule, they did not issue a refund and I ended up disputing the charge with my bank to get my money back. The business owner, Brittany Collins did not even have the courtesy to call me back to try to make things right. I have never been treated this way and so unreasonably by a business in my life. They do not care about their customers whatsoever or show understanding when “life happens.” Do not waste your money at this salon...awful customer service and experience all around.
