“I’m a Tidal Wave monthly subscriber. I park in a garage at home and a parking garage at work most days so my car stays clean on the exterior, and I frequent the vacuums instead. But I was parked under a tree all weekend, so my car ended up covered in tree & bird debris, and I was desperate to take it through the wash. In I roll after 8pm on a summer evening with a NASTY car. I was not prepared for how much “elbow grease” those guys gave to make sure all the junk would actually come clean in the drive thru wash! All with a smile. And at the end of a shift I’m sure they were just ready to be over. I was beyond impressed. Bravo!”

“Best self wash I've ever used. Always clean, well stocked and never out of chemicals!!! It's a little pricey, $3 to start and $0.25 for 15 seconds, but you get what you pay for, every dial working and chemical coming out when in use. Definitely recommend this place if you enjoy cleaning your car yourself like I do.”

“Best car wash in the metro area. The wash does a very thorough job. The air and water and tire cleaner section at the beginning are a plus. The vacuums are strong and plentiful. Most importantly when you're going through the tunnel's space age design you feel like you're Buck Rogers or something.
They appreciate their customers too. They send me free washes on my birthday and anniversary. That's a great way to build customer loyalty. There is a similar car wash closer to my house, but I always drive the extra distance to go to Blue Rain.”

“It's better than the Calera one by far because you can pre-scrub your own car before you actually go in, the wash itself is OK. I like the giant cloth mop looking scrubs, however, it still does not do a 100% clean wash. They all seem to leave behind traces of bird poop no matter what level of wash you buy. Whenever I have to use these car washes, I always get the cheapest option available. I do like the vacuums here that they are very powerful. At the end of the day, nothing beats washing your own car with your own stuff at your house, and I will never ever subscribe for monthly subscription to any car wash place.”

“After a nice lunch at one of the many lunch spots in Vestavia, we decided to take little walk. My stomach started to turn and I needed to use the rest room and fast.This shell station had a huge confidence store inside with a large array of snacks for the road. Everything from the classic chips and jerky to gummies, candies and a f real ice cream machine. I can't comment on the gas prices, but the inside of the store was clean, they had huge drink coolers with everything from water to beer. The bathrooms were very clean too which was an extra perk. Couldn't leave without buying at least so,etching so I decided to get a smart water before leaving. Overall experience was easy breezy.”
