Feel like you need to go more out on mountain biking? Do you like parks and gorgeous scenery? Well look no further for Cahaba River Park, they have tons of trails to choose from with intimidating names like High Voltage, Lost Loop Lake, and Flying Squirrel/Turtle, these trails include a bunch of downhill, curvy turns and tight paths you need to traverse, check it out!Restrooms: Restrooms open to the public, usually found at Pavilions.

As an avid mountain biker this place is truly a hidden gem. The single track trails are professionally built and have excellent flow. There is a lot of elevation here as well as various trail features which makes for an extremely fun time out here.

Amazing trails for cross country mountain biking! The crews that worked on the trail did so with mindfulness and skilled labor that makes the trail fun, flowy, and erosion free.Picnic area: Very nice picnic pavilions and bathrooms

Decent trails for hiking and mountain biking with lots of pretty views of the river. However, restrooms are often locked and there is a lot of trash left behind in some of the more popular areas.Restrooms: Some of the restrooms seem to always be locked.

We had a great time there yesterday. The trails were awesome. The bathrooms were clean. I would highly recommend riding there if you are in the area.

I live riding the trails out here. Drive over from Tuscaloosa regularly. Well designed, fun, and super convenient to make short loops which is a huge bonus during the summer

Beautiful park, especially when the Cahaba Lillys bloom. You can bike, hike, swim or just chill. Usually not too busy especially, during the week. There are covered pavilions.

I remember when it was fun the mud riding the parties was fun! Sorry but I think I'd rather take it back to the old days where we partied and had fun no matter what hour it was!! I grew up and always went to the slab before it turned into this. I can't say I'd go now cause it's all turned into limited activities. No drinking no fun no staying past a certain time no mudding! Some things should be left alone honestly sad seeing how things change ? it's sad cause it was perfect before ppl wanted to change it and make rules of what you can an can't do there!! Think I'll stick to the pearidge side where the quarry is unless they screwed that up to!! Prayers for this world this day and time you can't even enjoy yourself at the river and drink a few anymore!!!!

Very Nice Park. A little over a half dozen trail legs compose a nice easy to moderate day hike of 5 to 15 miles without backtracking or repeat scenery. Some legs of the trail can be bypassed to make for shorter hike. Trails are well marked and meander through a shady long leaf pine forrest with nice soft pine straw floor that occasionally overlooks the Cahaba river banks. Pine straw can be slippery so good tread is a must. Park is beautifully maintained and super clean. We covered 8 miles on a Monday and only encountered 1 other person the whole time. Paper maps available at trail heads for navigation. Almost zero “urban” noise pollution makes for a nice quiet day out in nature. Clean bathrooms & covered pavilions at several locations for convenience. Definitely adding this one to my regular hiking rotation.

Absolutely the best maintained, marked, flowy trails I have ridden in alabama. Not sure how many miles of trails but you can easily ride all day without doing the same trail multiple times. I can't stress how nice this *FREE* park is!My new home for riding!
