I wish headquarters would hear my plea.. this location needs to be a market. This is the only general store in 10 miles right now, but family dollar is about to open.. if dollar general wants to keep its business, consider converting it to a market, and keep it well stocked! I do appreciate this location.

I was in this store the afternoon of April 22nd. There was an incident in the store that involved a police report from 2 other customers. After it was resolved, I purchased a soda for my son because his blood sugar was dropping. A slender male cashier that looked to be in his early 20s proceeded to inquire about what disability one of the customers from the earlier incident "because he didn't look like he had a disability". I responded by saying that not all disabilities are visible to which he replied "PTSD is not a disability its a mental disorder." I didn't recall PTSD being mentioned at all during the time I was there. The cashier was aware that one of the customers involved in the incident was a veteran. As a veteran and someone with depression and anxiety his actions and words were extremely offensive and ignorant. Our conversation was ended when he said that "until the investigation is over I cant talk about it and I'm going to have to ask you to leave." Luckily I already paid for my son's glucose boost or there could've been a diabetic emergency. I asked for his name but he wouldn't give it to me. Later that day. I called the store asking for the manager's contact number. That was refused as well. I called the 1800 number and filed a report. I was told that "a distri t manager" would call be back within 24 hours. Here I am, days later writing this review. No one has returned my call. This cashier I'm referring to needs remedial training and is a risk for getting this sore a lawsuit.

This store is nothing like it use be no one ever does anything except 1 new manger not nice the store never has anything stocked it a mess and disorganized they only seem hire guys lately shelves are always empty

What is there to say. It's a Dollar General. Being in a rural part of town, this location has a little more to offer than your normal DG.
