COMPLETELY DEVASTATED!
I am beyond heartbroken, but feel obligated to share my experience with Dr. Joel Money Hungry Hayes at Hazel Green Animal Hospital which resulted in the loss of my sweet baby Gracie (aka. Fast Dog!!). The surgery was mishandled in a way that was both neglectful and avoidable. Honestly, after having an autopsy done, she should've never even had the surgery. But surgeries "pay the bills".To add insult to injury, the level of disrespect and lack of empathy shown by Mr. Hayes and the staff afterward was shocking and completely unacceptable. If you love your pet, I strongly advise looking elsewhere for their care, like Dr. Knight at Chase Animal Hospital. He's not only compassionate but I believe he really cares for your baby unlike other some other vets.

I had a dog (dog sitting) who had gotten hurt and needed stitched up and it was close to time for them to close. I called, told them what happened, they had me bring him in, I arrived and in a matter of minutes they got him fixed up, gave him some meds and had us on our way, all this with a friendly, welcoming, caring demeanor from the Dr and staff . I appreciate you guys for taking such WONDERFUL care of a “patient “ on a Saturday, close to closing time!!!! Plus they didn’t charge me an arm and a leg!!!

Had made an appointment for my little girl (Bella) to see Dr. Haynes (which i have always like & respected. Very nice Vet.) Had always highlty recommded him. Had appointment today, 10/15/24, call yesterday to rescheduled (due to illness). That was find..no problems until today ( the original day & time of the old appoint. to tell( same as)to tell me ( NOT TO COME BACK & SEE ANOTHER VET) !!! Was so upset & in shock couldn't believe it !!! DON'T KNOW THE REASON WHY !!!! (Will not recommded them to anyone else. The only reason why I put a one star is because couldn't post without one. ZERO STARS. 0000000 ....

Amazing clinic, was able to squeeze us in for swelling in my dog's lip. Got us in and out within 30 minutes and SIGNIFICANTLY more affordable than the emergency vet we went to last night that didn't fix anything. We will be back!

North Alabama animal hospital is the best place to take care of your pets needs. They really care about your and your pets concerns. They will give you the options and explain each of them so you can make the right decision. They also do kennels and can do wash, nails, and any shots at the same time. I been using them since I moved here in 2011. I did go to another vet but they just wanted to rush you out. So if you want a place that cares for you and your pets, please give them a try and you will be a fan too.

Lovey is always well cared for and loved when she visits Animal Hospital of North AL. She has stayed at daycare, boarded, and visits Dr. Hayes for her checkups. She is always excited to visit! Dr. Hayes and the whole staff are knowledgeable and love on her when she visits!

We have had a great experience with this vet!!! Our puppy is very anxious and they have been so sensitive to his anxiety and even given shots at the front lobby so as not to have to bring him all the way to the back room. I would highly recommend this vet!

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Cambra! She took the time to answer all of my questions helped me develop a plan of action for my dog to lose some weight. Through the whole time she was with my Lula, she was super sweet and calming, which is super helpful because Lula was really anxious to be there. After we were done with Dr. Cambra, we went to the front to check out, Dani was really understanding, and offered to have Jay (one of the other staff) take my dog outside and keep her calm to make things easier for me. He played with her, and even walked her to my car!
Absolutely best Vet experience! We will only take our pets to them. They treat them like family!

Dr Hayes and his staff treat you like family! They took very good care of my Harrison and made sure they did everything they could to ensure his survival! I am so thankful to have them take care of my fur babies!
