I had always dreamed of having a long sleeved lace wedding dress but soon realized during my hunt that most dresses came short sleeved or strapless. I found a dress that I absolutely loved except it had flutter sleeves (beautiful, but not my style). I took my dress in to Alison for regular alterations and told her my vision and she made that vision a reality. She gave me the most beautiful sleeves with all the details I had asked for. Forearm length, asymmetrical cut, and eyelash trim. She even surprised me by saving the pearls from my flutter sleeves and added them to the trim of my new long sleeves. I absolutely loved my wedding dress and often look back and admire her attention to detail. She was so wonderful to work with and a very quick turnaround. I recommend Alison over and over again!

Alison Anne was a god-send to me. I purchased a wedding dress in a size 8 when I am a size 2. Because I purchased my dress in another state I decided to have my dress altered where I live. I was terrified to commit to such an important decision, but Alison did a beautiful job. I couldn't have been happier, and the dress fit like a dream. Never did I get so many compliments, including on how it fit. And I know it was a difficult job. I can't recommend her enough - sweet and accommodating, and superb work!

Absolutely the best experience ever working with Alison! My sisters and I went to Alison to alter dresses for my sisters wedding. She listened to what we wanted and exceeded any expectations I had. She is so incredibly sweet and made the whole alteration process so easy. I'd recommend her to anyone who asks! Great great great service!

Alison did an absolute perfect job with my dress! It needed to be taken in and needed a decent size hem job. There’s a lot of lace and floral appliqués on my dress so I was a little nervous that it might be too difficult. It turned better than I could’ve imagined. HIGHLY recommend!

Definitely do not recommend. Although Mrs. Allison is super nice, she almost completely ruined my wedding dress. It was cut too short, and she completely cut through the lace appliqués instead of around them like every other seamstress would do. I lost a bit of weight and had to have the dress taken in. Her alterations caused the dress to poke out in multiple spaces, even though I went in for multiple fittings. She sewed the straps on and they were visibly crooked. I had to go to another seamstress to salvage the dress the week before my wedding. My dress ended up being too short on my wedding day because lace isn’t really fixable.

Allison is a talented, professional, and personable seamstress! I emailed her about altering my dress for our elopement in October and she got back to me right away. She was able to squeeze me in and got my dress back to me in a few weeks! Her services are affordable and she is an absolute doll to work with. This woman is amazing. I bought a sample dress that needed to be sized down in several areas, and she made the dress fit like a glove. The way she bustled the train under the dress made it seamlessly look like there was no train at all, which was perfect when my train got muddy from the rain the day before. I could not be happier with the work she did. I would totally recommend her alteration services.
