I highly recommend this company!! I was in a ditch on a very busy road and called many companies only to hear that it would be at least an hour before they could be there. River City Towing showed concern and compassion. The owner understood the stress and anxiety of the situation and had his driver to hurry to get there to help me. The driver was EXTREMELY cautious in his approach to remove my car from the hole my tire was stuck in.He got my car out without damage.After calling several other companies and hearing that it would be an hour before anyone could help me it was such a relief to hear “yes ma’am, someone is on their way”. Ten minutes later the driver pulled up.This is the best towing company in the Decatur area!

Charged a fortune to tow truck where I had an accident. And I'm missing 400.00 worth of items. I guess if your in bad shape. It's help yourself to the man's stuff!! Would love feedback.

A bit high seems to want to work with people's but game my storage key to a guy lying about my whereabouts so not very secure. Also gave access to someone for my belongings in my vehicle before myself not very organized

Very rude and TERRIBLE customer service. Car was stolen and cops called this company because they were on rotation. They said that would be easier than calling AAA. My cars battery was stolen and so they said they would take my car to their lot until we could get my insurance to look at it. But they did not mention ANYTHING about having to pay storage fees. So not only do I have to pay for the tow because they are not a company that AAA doesn’t cover but storage as well. They then told us they would not tow my car somewhere to get fixed until we drive to hartselle (30 minutes from where I live) and pay them CASH for the tow and the storage. They told us this when we said we wanted it towed today so we won’t have to pay more storage fees and they close in 30 minutes. The driver was very rough with my car when putting it in the truck as well. I agree with all the other reviews saying this place is awful.Service: Local hauling

Gravel came off of one of these tow trucks hauling heavy equipment while merging onto I-65 on April 27, 2021. I was traveling from TN to FL for vacation with my grandchildren. The company refuses to pay for my cracked windshield caused by the gravel that came off of their tow truck. I am having to file my insurance and pay a $100 deductible for damages that was not my fault. They claiim it was road debris, however it came straight off the back of their truck. They would be responsible had if I had a video of the incicent. That is not the right thing to do in my eyes.
