One star because the pump worked and I was able to get gas. What's the point of paying at the pump if you have to go inside and wait in line to get your receipt. I live locally but fortunately I have other gas stations to choose from.

Last night after dark I was traveling North on Hwy 31 in Hartselle on my way home and needed some gas. The lights were on at the Marathon station so I pulled in and walked in, paid for my gas but as I was immediately walking out, they turned off all of the lights. I am 62, disabled and nearly tripped going down the steps. The guy that had taken my money literally laughed at me as I struggled to see one foot in front of me. I had just paid but had no light whatsoever to pump my gas. I had to get inside my car, find my cell phone in order to pump the gas. I think it was completely inconsiderate, not to mention unprofessional and if I had fallen and injured myself the guy who took my money, who laughed at me for stumbling, I have zero doubt that he would have helped me. Needless to say, I will never stop at that gas station ever again. Totally ignorant, inconsiderate and unprofessional behavior.

Just filling up my 2016 Chevy Equinox LT & got 5 cents off a gallon & it was worth it for being the Marathon Rewards Member & I’m glad the machine for loyalty ID works just like the Nance Ford Rd. location in Hartselle, AL too.
