“We were traveling from Michigan to Florida and had a propane leak on our travel trailer. We stopped at an RV dealership and they said they were fully booked but suggested Lackeys. From the moment we walked in we encountered some of the nicest and skilled people you could meet. Although they were booked, they worked us in and determined we had damage to our propane line. They were able to get an odd sized gas pipe cut and threaded and had us on our way within 2 hours. Very reasonable price. We highly recommend!”

“June 20, 2023 - I was driving from Kentucky to Florida. My car is a 2008 Toyota Camry so older but well maintained. All of a sudden, I could tell something was wrong. It was missing. I'm halfway between home and my destination so I was a little apprehensive about needing assistance in an unknown place but I had no other option.I asked the first person I saw where he took his vehicle to and he gave me J&D's number. I called and spoke to Jimmy. He did let me know he could run the codes but wouldn't be able to work on it until the next day. Thankfully, I was able to get there. He tested it and said all six cylinders were missing but there were no codes. Then he asked me if I got gas recently. I told him yes & where. He put fuel conditioner in to temper the bad gas & gave me the rest of it to put in before I filled up again. He charged me $33. Y'all! I'm so thankful it wasn't anything more wrong with my car but I would definitely trust him to work on my car. Straightforward, asked questions, gave honest feedback and expectations.”

“What a wonderful auto mechanic shop — Mr. Steve was an absolute GOD SEND to us after our vehicle broke down on us while traveling through the area!!! We had already tried everything that made sense to us to no avail, including changing out parts ourselves at the truck stop up the road, but Steve’s extensive knowledge and experience allowed him to properly diagnose the problem quickly and efficiently. He even took the time to explain why he thought the problem was what it was before fixing it, and after it was fixed, he showed us more things to be aware of related to after-market add-ons that were problematic for our vehicle in how they had been tied in by a previous mechanic. This was not a straightforward answer repair, but Steve knew exactly what to do and how to go about diagnosing it. He was absolutely fair and honest in his dealings, and we feel so good about having taken our vehicle to him — we have gained so much more knowledge because of him. THANK YOU LORD FOR STEVE AND HIS FAMILY AND SHOP!!!”

“Rod hooked me up today with a great tune for my 2012 Harley-Davidson V-Rod. I recently installed a new exhaust and ran a canned tune that came with with my Fuel Moto Micro EFI tuner. The air/fuel mix was too rich, power was lumpy, and throttle response had significant lag. I left the bike at Rod's for the day, and it is now running GREAT!!! I highly recommend this shop for your tuning needs.”
