I was in and out - passing out when I was taken to Lakeland Hospital. The doctor attacked me - hitting my chest hard and then digging his fist into my chest. He hit me so hard he knocked the breath out of me and he hollered - Oh look! She is awake and responding - It is a miracle!” He said “Hurts right!? I am gonna keep doing it until you respond to me! I started backing away from him and the nurse crying loudly with my hands raised in front of me I have a bruise on my chest. - They called the cops and had me kicked out of the hospital - No wheel chair and I had no shoes on..- and was throwing up.. I would not send my dog here!

The heavy set red curly hair nurse was very rude and treated my ole man like he was a joke and made rude comments after him coming back to get IV antibiotics at the ER as the Dr recommended the night before. In our opinion she is in the wrong line of work. She should not be responsible for the well being of others period.

My sister was admitted to the Senior Ward (the psych ward) after an adverse drug event in the nursing home where she was living. We were told that they had an Integrated Behavioral Health Psychiatrist who "did rounds" M, W & F. They had her in there almost two weeks, during which time the Psychiatrist prescribed additional medications, which created severe adverse drug events. Only to discover that the psychiatrist NEVER even met my sister in person to evaluate her. He "evaluated" her by video. And now we're dealing with the consequences. Be careful.

This hospital is one of the cleanest I have been to in a long time. The staff and doctor went over and beyond to take care of my mom. Every time someone came in the room they told me what they were doing and told me the results before leaving. Stopped in frequently to make sure I didn't need anything. I will be using this hospital if I need one . Thanks again to all the staff and doctors.

The worst hospital I've ever been in. Rude nurses and incompetent doctors. Especially the ER. I've never seen them actually help anyone. I have, however, been insulted by the same doctors that were supposed to helping me. Sad excuse for a medical facility. If you need help, I'd just make the trip to Jasper or somewhere similar if possible.

Horrible doctors and nurses. They do not care about anyone’s wellbeing only the money. The staff was hateful. If I could do zero stars I would.

Everyone was very nice, polite and professional. The ER is alot better now than what it used to be. Because of my health issues I have been to the ER 3 times in the last couple of months. I really hope they keep it up.

If I could rate lower I would. We went out there with a sore throat and flu like symptoms they didn't run any tests and sent us out. We went to Cullman regional because it was unbearable today and have strep if you don't care about the patients then don't be a doctor

I brought my grandmother her for a COVID test. The receptionist is incompetent and lazy. I will drive to Florence before I ever come here again. I gave one star because zero wasn't available

I live in Haleyville and this hospital has always taken such great care of me and my family! It truly is quality healthcare! The staff and doctors really take the time to listen and go above and beyond to meet your needs! I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

I went there because I was sick I tried to tell the dr. My symptoms he just interrupted me and said I had sinus . Gave me some nose spray and a steroid shot and sent me in my way no blood work no test even after telling him I was there Friday with my son who tested positive for flu A . Needless to say I went to different dr. I had flu A and was severely dehydrated with a bad upper respiratory infection so for the dr. At haleyville hospital hwangpo inkil if you hate your job you don’t need to be working in a hospital because of doctors can’t do there job correctly we are all screwed. What happen to do no harm and do your best with every patient I bet they charged my insurance about 900 dollars for nothing . The bad thing is that they weee empty there was no need in being in a hurry. So sad what our hospital has come to and people wounded why we have the rating we do

We took our son to the emergency room as instructed by our pediatrician (Haleyville pediatrics), and they did absolutely nothing for him no test, blood work, nothing. Just looked him over and told us that the problems he was having was most likely normal. We end up bringing him to Childrens, where he has been admitted. I knew something was wrong and turns out our son has E-Coli… very disappointed with the fact that they didn’t give us the time of day and sent us home.

In the last week Lakeland and it’s staff has took exceptional care of me and my son and our medical illness! 10/10 recommend!

Came in with excruciating wisdom tooth pain on a Sunday 2am. The nurses were polite but Dr. Hwangpo was in the room for less than 30 seconds. In that time he put gloves on, looked into my mouth with no light and said there wasn’t anything he could do since im pregnant and walked out. Some people are just poor excuses for healthcare workers.
