“I have a bad bladder, a rumbly tumbly, and my mom lives 1.5 hours away in Madison, so I'm constantly stopping at this Mapco for bathroom and snack reasons. Everything is always clean and wonderful. What I love most of all, though, is that the people who work here are extremely nice!! Not something you necessarily expect or require from a gas station, especially one open 24 hours where people are probably extra exhausted, but awesome all the same!”

“As a 29 year resident of Guntersville the Lakeview Tackle & Grocery Is Definitely my favorite convenience store/Gas station by far due to its accessibility(being able to easily get to a gas pump and or safe parking )US HWY 431 being on one side and US HWY 79 on the other Gunyrtsvill has a lot of gas stations competing with one another but the Lakeviews location size and its well maintained gas pumps makes it the best in my opinion”

“If you dont know what kind of beer, ale, or fruity alcoholic drink you want, this store has the biggest selection of beer ive seen from albertville to huntsville. And it stays cold, just above freezing. The owner and employees at this place are good people and almost always chat a bit. Have any questions, ask. I am a regular customer and have never had any problems. Nor have I seen any problems there.”
“It's open 24/7, and for a convenient store it has just about everything from gasoline, drinks n eats to fishing supplies. It is practically right on the water. It stays very busy but u can still get in and out pretty fast. It's kept clean n staff are helpful and when not extremely busy are friendly. I would rate it a 5 except u have to ask for your receipts not debit/credit card receipts but for regular purchase ones. They are not the only place that does this. It seems to be a thing most every store does with the exception of places like Walmart, grocery stores, fast food etc. I believe in conservation and cutting expenses and if this is why alot of stores do this that's fine but a customer shouldn't have to ask for a receipt they should be asked would they like a receipt. For those of us who need them for their records(or who forget to ask).”

“This DG location has the best selection of necessities and both friendly and helpful employees. I particularly found 2 of the empliyees extremely helpful as they went above and beyond to help locate a few hard to find items, even checking with a nearby DG location to locate an item they had ran out of. They made my shopping experience during the covid-19 pandemic a little less stressful while putting their families as well as their own health in jeopardy. I will definitely be shopping this location again. Courtney and Jamie thanks so much for your help last month!!”
