The location was ideal. Our king one bedroom suite was ok. My husband travels full-time for work and we have stayed in a lot of different types of accommodations and this was the worst experience as far as comfort, expectations and service go. We came as a vacation with our children and not for work. Our room had ants all over the kitchen. We live in Alabama and this is no big deal to us. We contacted maintenance and asked them to spray. They said when we leave they would. So we let them know we were leaving and stayed gone the whole day. They never came and sprayed so we were unable to use the kitchen counter. The pull out sofa had no linens but my daughters were able to get some sheets from the front desk. Housekeeping only came and cleaned once during our stay and did not replenish any of the essentials from the toilet paper, trash removal, trash bags, towels, removing of dirty towels, dishwasher detergent, coffee. We had visited the beach so naturally when we went to take showers we got sand on the floor. I had to use a towel to "sweep" the sand to the corner of the bathroom since our room remained unattended to for the remainder of the days of our stay. My husband asked the front desk to please have housekeeping attend to our room and they never did, no vacuuming or beds being made or trash taken out. My husband went to the front desk several times to get what was needed, trash bags, towels, dishwasher detergent, coffee, toilet paper and even had to bring several days of garbage outside to the dumpster himself. We paid an average of $300/night to stay here and def expected a better, more comfortable stay. On the plus side, laundry machines were free.

First of all this my second time staying at this hotel because I enjoyed my first stay but never again. The air doesn't work like it should this was the first night (Room 301). On the second day a dog poop right in the hall and my friend went and reported to the front desk person, mind you it was (2) people down there. They told her all of housekeeping is gone, like what the hell that mean? So I told her I was going to report it as well. I went told them it was dog poop in the hall on floor 300 one of the ladies said omg all the housekeeping is gone for today. Like what does that mean to me when it's (2) of you then she turned around & asked was in front of a door. I said no but it's in the hall where people are walking. I feel like if y'all going to offer dog service you guys need to be willing to clean that mess up evening if housekeeping isn't there. That's called nasty and I will never stay there again. & I don't care if she was by herself it wouldn't have taken 5 mins to go get that poop up. For the record, we do some things that are not our job.
Nearby activities: I love the fact that everything is closed by but this hotel lost my service.

We wanted to like this hotel. The location wasn’t bad at all and it appeared fine when we first checked in. Things sadly went south. The first night, our fridge and air were not working. Maintenance came and fixed the air for the night. By 2:30am, our room was finally cool. The second night came around and by 9:00, the air was out again and the room was at 76°. Maintenance came, but the air was unable to be repaired. The temp continued to rise as it’s over 90° outside. We were disappointed since the other reviews were so positive, but will not be staying at this hotel again.
Rooms: Need to be better maintained

Terrible check in experience that took way too long; then our key cards wouldn’t work. Front desk was extremely rude when we made them aware of the issue. The side doors don’t lock so anybody can walk in when they want. The carpet in the room was filthy, felt greasy and left our bare feet black. Once we realized we never removed our shoes. Elevator was too slow so we had to consistently use the stairs which was quite inconvenient being on the 4th floor and lugging a baby up and down. I would NOT stay here again nor would I ever stay here again.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. When we got there, we were told the maid forgot about our room and we’d have to wait. No big deal. We waited a few minutes and then it was ready. Honestly, it was obviously ready because it wasn’t cleaned. Dirty dishes still in the dish washer, dirty wash cloths hung on the shower rod, a piece of molded fruit in the floor. The best part and the reason you shouldn’t say here is the gigantic roach that was in the floor at breakfast. I’ve attached a picture.
I called to speak with the manager and was told he was out until Monday. My brother said something about the roach to the front desk. They apologized and then wanted to know if it was still alive ??♀️
I know mistakes happen. I’m fine with that. But almost $500 a night for a dirty room and roaches is not something I’m fine with.

No shower curtain upon arrival, only allowed one towel at a time as we were told didn’t have any. No regular coffee at breakfast on a Monday morning at 8:45 AM. No eggs no sausage food was being picked up by 8:50 and was supposed to go until 9:30. No ice in the drink machine, I heard the lady say she didn’t want to climb up there.
I was headed to my room on the elevator and had my hands full and had to kick my foot to keep it open as the housekeeper was leaning on back wall and just watched. Didn’t even acknowledge we were struggling.
I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and this is one I had to cut my stay short and move to another place.

I had high expectations for this stay and was very disappointed. We have stayed in San Antonio stay bridge and it was extravagant. Our room was hot and would not cool off . The air filter to our ac had an inch of dust on it! The room smelled so musty. The carpet was disgusting through the whole hotel and any tile looked like it hadn't been mopped in weeks. If you stay less than seven days apparently they do not sweep or vacuum , which okay can you at least put a broom in the room seeing we have a kitchen to cook. Housekeeping I would absolutely give a 0. At one point the housekeeper came in and just handed my brother the towels and trash bags and left. Shampoo was fine but conditioner and body wash were so watered down it did not even make suds or condition. Applejuice and orange juice were both like water . Our floor smelled like weed the whole stay . This was nothing like what we expected, especially for what we paid. The first night I pulled the sheets down to get in and there was a dead fiddle back in the bed. The room was dirty when we arrived and we found trash under the bed. Beer bottle lid right out in the middle of the living room floor. How can you miss that cleaning? Last but not least the pool was green all along the walls. I honestly should have saved the money and paid for a motel six .

I’m a member of IHG and I’m HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! I would give them a zero in rating but that’s not an options. I’m a very reasonable women also patient but this place hit a nerve EVERYDAY! Our stay there was for business and leisure as we were there for a dance competition.
Starting with checkin..My friend/family arrive at 11am for check in and called for an early check as they said there room will be ready. WELL IT WASNT! They didn’t get there room till after 3pm. ??♀️
Next, my room smelled like mildew, & come to find out that the filter was not replaced and you can see the dusky blue air filter from the wall. ?
Also, the tub was clogged! ?While taking a shower I was wondering why the water would not recede. With my family of 4 the dirty water stayed in the tub after each shower. It took almost 10-15 for the water to drain out so you can imagine what is stuck in the pipes in order for the water to go out.
Next, The floor carpet was filthy and had to be forever since they REALLY cleaned it. I say this because when my son took his shoes off the bottom of his feet was black. ??? On top of that the living TV stopped working. But again since we were in and out the whole week we didn’t sweat it, however that doesn’t excuse the issue.
Next, my key stopped working and I had to got to the front desk 3 times to fix it in order to get in my room. ?
After that, while heading back to my room, I seen roaches by the elevator ??♀️?
LAST, to top of off while staying for almost a week for my daughter dance competition, we were in and out frequently. We got 4 calls, even two on a same night for a complaint of us making a lot of noise. Allow me to add that I have an autistic son that sometimes do a little more than usual. After the 1st complaint I politely went to the front desk after they called us to inform them that we have an autistic son so we apologize for the noise as we continue to redirect him. HOWEVER he can’t help it so please let the guest know this.
Not even 2 hours later we get a call 2:00am in the from the front desk of noise complaint. At that point I said to them that I already came down to explain to the other rep before the shift changed what is the case. The front desk then tells me we will still need to be quiet because the guest have a tournament in the morning. Now I truly understand the courtesy of this, unfortunately me weren’t that loud AT ALL. At that moment AS A GUEST I felt the disregarding of our stay as we pay the same money as everyone else to stay at the hotel to be harassed by the front desk from another guest concerns or issues. Shouldn’t it be a limit on calls of complaints especially if you called already???
Shouldn't each guest get equal respect???
This hotels allows dogs, which I’m a DOG LOVER , however we all know that bringing a dog to a hotel, you can expect it will be a lot of barking. But no one complains about that though…
Lastly to add , our hallway smelled like dog pee!
I’m absolutely disturb and disappointed ?
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO STAY!

Paid over $1000 to stay here for 3 days and found a roach crawling on me in the elevator. When I made it out of the elevator and found one crawling on the ceiling. Went to the front desk, lady was 0 help... "no manager around" couldn't even bother to call, just took my name and number and said they'd deal with it in the morning. Told me they'd been getting complaints for the past 2 days but didn't tell guests and come to find out a review from 2 weeks ago with 1 star and a picture of huge roach attached. Which is EXACTLY what was crawling on me. Genuinely worried about taking home roaches and concerned about sleeping here. I'm just glad I haven't had the chance to eat breakfast because I can only imagine the worst.
