The lady that worked there was throwing the hermit crabs from one glass containment to the other. I know they’re “just crabs” but they’re living things and she was literally throwing them around. Even my kids were surprised at how she was treating them. Hard to want to give business to a place that doesn’t even care for the little things like that.

A wonderful place to take grandkids. They loved it. Enjoyed being at the beach and definitely enjoyed the big purple octopus.

80% of everything here is made in China. Even personalized items are just put on with a scotch tape type of label. Very cheaply looking. I saw a cute fleece jacket a few days ago and returned a couple days later to buy. The cashier wasn't friendly. No hi or thank you was given. The zippered sweatshirt jacket is cute.

Took my kids over the weekend to get some candy from the candy shop in the store. We live in the area and my kids enjoy their retro and off the wall selection. Both workers were on their phones and did not acknowledge us standing at the counter for at least 10 mins. Once we asked for assistance due to one kid wanting icecream and we were ready to Check out we were greated with attitudes as if we were bothering them to do their jobs.

I didn’t like the hermit crab tank in the back unmonitored. There were kids picking them up and running around with them. You really need someone back there full time if you’re going to sell live pets. Other than that it’s a nice gift shop with reasonable prices.
