Literally took me at least 30 minute to cash a check thru the drive thru absolutely unacceptable it’s a drive thru for a reason wouldn’t recommend banking here unless you got hours to burn :((((((

I went in to obtain a temp. ATM card and Direct Deposit form. One of the tellers told me that I could go to the back office to obtain these items. Before I could say "okay" .. another teller LOUDLY STATED "uhh WE CANT DO TEMP. ATM CARDS ANYMORE!" I DIDNT UNDERSTAND because why would the bank allow me to open an account deposit money and NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THOSE FUNDS. The teller at the back desk then said "Yes, we can ..we still have them." Either she was uneducated on this or she was profiling me. regardless it made my visit unpleasant and I WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS BRANCH LOCATION.Edit: Mr.Hugh was so very nice. If I return it will be to see him

They tried to charge me a $9 fee for cashing a check because I was not an account holder. I cash checks from my customers at several other banks in the area and this is the first time I have been asked to pay a fee. They said it was because they were doing me a service. No, you are doing a service for your account holder by honoring the check they wrote. I will never again set foot in Hancock Whitney bank.

Mary was silent through my entire transaction. No hello and no thank you. Rude, she was only concerned with laughing on her phone. I will take my business elsewhere. This was at the Gulf Shores location.

I have an insurance agency, and during the 2020 economic meltdown, Stephanie Crosslin took valuable time out of her extremely busy life to help answer a multitude of questions not only from me, bur for my clients, who were rightfully panicked about which loans to apply for, and how to proceed. And, here's the kicker: Stephanie could not process any loans for clients who were not with Whitney Hancock, so she was simply doing the right thing in a time where many bankers were either too busy or not knowledgeable enough to help in a crisis. There are not enough words to show my, and countless others gratitude to Stephanie.

Is a shame the closed the Orange Beach location. Us in Perdido we have to drive over 30 min to Gulf Shores or the same time to Pensacola, at least the bank in Pensacola, they can do more transactions and have more personnel.

Staff is always friendly. The building is always clean. It is easily accessible to get to the building from the main road.
