Found this place after looking at recommendations on Yelp. They removed my faux locs and then did a wash and set. My hair is perfect. I also did a pedicure. Alex is very thorough and gave me a pedicure that is comparable to what some places deem a spa pedicure. Grateful we have such quality services in East New York.

The reviews from Yelp steered me right with this one and thank you all for that! To start off, I was greeted by Sofia who was sweet. She was professional and my hair came out great! My hair came out just like the salon I visit in the Bronx but I'm a Brooklyn girl so you can imagine my travels for the satisfying results I look for. Ultimately, to find someone who can finesse my hair the same way is a win/win. The woman who washed my hair also did a great job so overall my experience was great! I brought my own products and my hair still feels great. I will be a returning customer as sometimes a person doesn't always feel like traveling to the Bronx. The pricing was decent. I'm pretty spoiled with what I'm charged in the Bronx but let's put it this way.. the amount of money I use to commute to the Bronx vs. coming to this salon, I just about break even.

Very good with natural hair. I got a wash and set and Nancy was very gentle with my type 4 hair. They do charge a bit more for natural hair but at least it's clearly noted on the price list on the wall instead of telling you when it's time to pay like some of these salons like to do. They had good covid protocols in place, taking each person temperature as they walk in and making us sign in. I'm not sure how effective it is since they take the temp of your arm not your forehead. Forehead is better for checking fevers, but at least they're on the right track. Try to get there when they open if you want to be out by noon

I came to this salon several months ago for a wash and set. I waited a long time before writing this review. I wanted to give my hair a chance to grow out some before I passed judgment. I thought the accusations made by some other reviewers were very serious and I didn't want to automatically jump on the bandwagon. However after seeing such a HUGE difference between my new growth and the texture of my hair after getting it done at this salon, I too believe that they are putting some kind of chemical in the hair of natural women during the shampoo process! I usually wash my hair myself but sometimes I'm just not in the mood for all the work it entails so I go to a salon here and there,, so I am very familiar with my hair's normal texture. Usually my hair has curls when wet, now they are just loose frizzy waves. Its thinner and easily breaks off at the new growth. Im so upset because now I have to grow my hair out all over again! BEWARE naturals! Protect your locks at all costs!

Well... my experience wasn't so great ! The outcome of my hair was ridiculous. I went in the salon with dark brown hair and asked for a wash and set and for my hair to be dyed blonde . Tuhhhh I was better off doing it myself. My hair looked purple , orange a weird yellow white color .And my hair is now falling out . Smh !!! I paid 140$ and I had to fix it myself. Here's the pictures...

My hair came out so beautiful & healthy, the lady washing my hair kept saying that she loved my hair. So happy I was able to find a new salon after my usual salon moved a few years ago. I recommend all natural hair girls to come to this salon. I left very happy I did love that they put a towel around my forehead and ears to prevent burning from the hair dryer, not many salons do that. I did wait quite a while but I came in around 3pm and there were people ahead of me but nothing too crazy. Im used to waiting.

My hair is absolutely destroyed. I went here for around 8 months, and slowly but surely, the texture of my hair has been forever changed. I wish I would've read these reviews first. These people put some sort of chemical in their shampoos and conditioners. I had to cut off almost 3 inches of my hair...all I ever did was blow my roots and never used any heat for the rest of the week, and my hair is beyond damaged and brittle. I believed they were knowledgeable about hair, but I know better now.

I'm usually skeptical about beauty salons . They usual never know how to do my hair. I have a 4c hair type and I don't use relaxer. I've had such bad luck trying to find a good salon with decent prices . They did an AMAZING job on my hair . I didn't even have to wait. I was seated and washed as soon as I walked through the door . Now let me tell you about the wash. I'm used to places being cheap and trying to conserve product . So usually they don't thoroughly wash your hair , or they charge you ridiculous prices if you want better product . She must've washed my hair like 4 times . She took her time washing my hair and conditioning it . I loved the way my hair came out !!! I got a wash set and straighten. It was only $30!!!! Lolol Con: parking is HORRIFIC in that area . It's on a very busy avenue .

Lovely salon, everyone's nice and as important, they do good hair. A bonus is that Yency cares that you take good care of your hair.

When they say a miracle...I mean it really is true! After my last nightmarish beauty salon experience, I was a little skeptical to give this salon thing another try. However, I am so glad I did. The girls over at Miracle Salon are fabulous! Yancy, Sophia, Wendy and of course the shampoo tech Lineth are serious about hair care! I have tight curls that if not detangled properly will give you a run for your money! I came prepared with my own detangling brush in case I had to go to war with my own hair...but thank God I did not have to use. They are so versed in all hair types that they detangled my hair with conditioner before even shampooing it! I was like Huh...what!? Is this real?! I felt like I was in hair heaven... Sophia blew out my hair like a champion and I left feeling so fresh and well cared for. I will definitely be back and am referring anyone that has natural hair of any length to go let these ladies work a miracle for you too!

So I went to this shop for a blow out/ silk press. I wish I had read previous reviews where people swear that they have gotten relaxer mixed into the shampoo they used because there hair texture changes. Before I CONTINUE LET ME GIVE YOU GUYS A BACKSTORY ON MY HAIR. I was natural until highschool. I begged my mom to let me relax my 4c hair, at first I liked it but came wash day I became very irritated with the smell. I AM VERY SENSITIVE TO SMELL. And I hated how my permed hair smelled when wet, even when I was sweating. Plus I would get mild migraines. So after that I never went back to perm. Ive been natural 5 years So i go to this salon to do a simple blow out and I called before hand to make sure they could do natural 4c hair. I fell asleep for a while when they were washing and detangling my hair (the lady who did my hair was thorough and patient with my hair it was relaxing). Then of course they blew out my hair and I made sure they used heat protectant. After my hair turned out silky and straight. I wasn't surprised because I've done blowouts before and my hair has always done well with heat and reverted back I thought it would be the same this time. 3 weeks passed (i was having some migraines but thought nothing of it) and I was finally ready to go back to curly hair. But as soon as I wet my hair, I STARTED SMELLING THE SAME ROTTEN EGG SMELL I USED TO HATE WHEN I WET MY PERMED HAIR. I couldn't believe it. I hopped out the shower and indeed my hair was straight even though it was sopping wet and my roots were curly. Because I've had experience with my hair both natural and perm I can tell when something chemical has been added to my hair. BEWARE 4C NATURALS, THESE PEOPLE DESTROYED MY HAIR THAT I'VE BEEN GROWING FOR 5 YEARS BY SECRETLY PUTTING A MILD RELAXER/TEXTURIZER IN MY HAIR. MY HAIR IS FALLING OUT AND THINNING. DONT BE LIKE ME, SPEND THE EXTRA BUCKS AT NATURAL HAIR SALONS BECAUSE AT LEAST YOU KNOW YOUR HAIR WON'T START TO FALL OUT

I have to say that this beauty salon is one of the best I have ever been to. Besides their very talented and thoughtful lead beautician/owner Yency, all of the staff is warm and friendly. It is nice to come into a business where the atmosphere is welcoming and kind. I have never left there unsatisfied and am grateful for their services.
