I have been using Publix Pharmacy for years now. I get the same common blood pressure medication every 30 days. For the last six months or so they never have it in stock. They always say “it’s on back order, but it will be in tomorrow” and it’s never in “tomorrow.” It takes days, sometimes over a week. One time they told me it was in and when my husband arrived to pick it up they said they didn’t have it. The staff is often a bit rude and seem inconvenienced to take my calls or answer questions. I’m sorry you hear from me so often but you tell me everyday “it will be in tomorrow.”

Staff is always very nice, usually not a long line. Switched from another big name pharmacy in Gardendale. Has been night and day difference. No drive-through, however that can't be helped because of location. Competitive on pricing if not using insurance or buying rx's for pet.

I went to 3 different pharmacies to fill a prescription. Sydney was able to help fill my medication. I'm grateful for her kindness, professionalism and help! This experience convinced me that it's time to change pharmacies! Thank you Sydney!

I am a huge fan of Publix and they pretty much are my go-to supermarket. This particular location, which is in Gardendale, Alabama, offers a lot to their community. There is a reason that Publix has become the leading supermarket in the southeastern United States. For starters, Publix has put a strong emphasis on customer service. They also have strong BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we can never forget their subs, which people affectionately call "Pub Subs." Thr subs at Publix are pretty solid. My go-to sub at Publix is probably their Italian sub. My daughter is a fan of their chicken tender sub. Publix also has a good ambiance for a supermarket that only enhances my overall shopping experience. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location and I give it five stars overall.

Yelp! Such a great place to shop! Today, front Manager Mr. P, help bag our groceries with a smile. We come here almost every Sunday for flowers. But of course, we found everything we needed and more. Can't hardly come in here on Sundays and not get the fried chicken and a big bowl of fruit. Just a nice place to spend money. You high now, but you so clean and stocked up, I can't hardly help myself. But y'all already know, when I'm satisfied, I'll be back.

Very friendly staff! They were very busy \\u0026 still got my prescription out in a timely manner. I shopped while they were filling it \\u0026 got a text message when it was ready! So much better than the big chain pharmacies.

Very disappointed with the bakery!!! We ordered the biggest cake they offer (which isn't cheap). The cake wasn't even finished and the writing wasn't even centered. The white icing had a brown coloring to it. So disappointed!!!

I ordered a basketball themed cake for my step sons birthday and it was supposed to white and yellow and when we picked it up it was like cheddar cheese yellow instead of white and the stripes were brown instead of yellow we were really disappointed in the decoration.if they were going to mess the colors up they should have called us and told us .

The food bagger their came to our line with a runny nose and watery eyes and then wiped her snaughty nose on the bags. I asked her to go clean herself up and she just shrugged me off like she couldn't hear it was superior. The cashier had to literally tell her to go wipe her face and hands.

Wanted a cake not a big one so got the Red Velvet Bar Cake. This was in self serve display service fine friendly helpful ambiance was good . Had what I needed. Easy to get. I know it will not disappoint. This is one of my all time favorites.

What can I say...I love Publix. Always clean, always plenty of employees helping get the job done and they are almost always courteous and helpful. While I miss shopping in the Publix in Calera as it was not as busy as the one I now shop at in Gardendale, the Gardendale store is still very nice. Just lot's more customers that seem to be running in a faster pace. I try to do my shopping here on a weekday to avert the crowds, but it is what it is. Perhaps another Publix could be built for Fultondale to help with the crowding....Hint, hint...Publix!

I feel like a picked on minority here. Things like the worker commenting to me and the people behind because I wanted my 8 half gallons of $5+ milk so $50 worth of milk double bagged. Then today the lady made me unload my own basket because she didn't want to. Then proceeded to gang up on me with the older lady behind me making me feel unsafe as a young white small female even walking to my car. Before moving to the area I have been to many Publix's all over and this is my first ever complaint. Until now I had never had a Publix employee -ignore a hello -customer service desk does not speak -argued with me (several different employees) for wanting milk or heavy groceries double bagged -had service refused until I unloaded my own basket -been called out, embarrassed or disrespected in a busy setting -gotten eye rolls for asking for meat in the deli This store does not hold up publix customer service standards I've given it several months to "see how it goes" and it keeps getting worse. I don't want to dread going to my favorite store and I definitely don't want to give a store several hundred dollars a week to be treated rudely. I'm a quiet get it done person and I'm not use to being treated poorly, called out or having to involve management and I'm utterly shocked it has come to that with this Publix location.
