James Walker's Allstate Agency has been providing my insurance coverage for almost 20 years now, and they have been there every single time we have needed them. Immediately. We have suffered through a break-in robbery and a wreck or two and they have answered every question I've ever had with such grace and politeness. I have never regretted my decision to go with Allstate...and Mr. Walker and his employees will be there for you too. After 20 years I feel confident in saying I guarantee that!! This office canceled my policy after I set it up on auto payments on the app. I called 11/21 when I realized and they NEVER called back. I called and spoke to someone after leaving 4 messages and the woman that works there said she would have her brother (the agent) or her nephew call back guess what never did. I called for a month when I finally had my Husband call and guess what they called him back right away and set up a policy. We were never notified that the policy was canceled. This is completely unprofessional. Now our lean holder is going to charge us nearly 6k.They are discriminating by not calling the woman back but getting right back to the man. Come on.If this is sorted out I’ll be leaving this office and giving my business to another agent.On top of all of that she is a liar! She “couldn’t find my old policy” the other day but found it incredibly easily today.

If I could use negative stars I would. We have been trying for over a week to speak with the agent. Every time we call the female who answers the phone is very rude. She has hung up on us twice. Today she told us an absolute lie. If James Walker wants to have business turned away daily, he can keep her. If he’s looking to gain more clients, he needs to fire her. Complete lack of professionalism, she hangs up while you are speaking, and now she lies to potential new customers!!! If James Walker would like more details, I would love to provide them!!!!!

I went to James to get insurance twice, once for motorcycle and one for Moble home insurance both times he sent me to another Agency I had auto with Allstate, been a Allstate customer over 15 years, I hate to change company’s but with the history with james I’m glad I did… got a cheaper rate with more coverage….just don’t feel welcome at Allstate

Horrible experience. I have been rear ended twice while having them as my insurance and they did absolute NOTHING for me. They never even return my calls. In fact, last conversation I had with Melissa she insulted me and my husband. And then hung up on me. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Would NEVER recommend.

Great experience, they were very knowledgeable and their coverage was approximately 25% less than Country Financial. I can only wish that I had dealt with them 6 years ago. I strongly recommend Jacob and James Walker in Gardendale, AL.

Have been nothing but disappointed and highly upset with Allstate. I have been doing all the leg work with our vehicles trying to get issues taken care of and nothing has happened. I’m getting my vehicle from the shop that was in an accident on the 9th and still hasn’t been inspected, and fixing it myself. Do not use this company. My wife still doesn’t have a rental car after she was rear ended and is suffering from injuries that her premium is suppose to cover for 30 days.Edit.. Jackie Roland just now called me on the 4th. Almost a month of my truck being at the shop. I said I may drop them due to this issue and he said it’s fine to let him know if we do so he can not continue with my estimate. Poor costumer service. Horrible experience and we are highly upset.

I am so disappointed with my Allstate experience. I was in a total loss accident, rear ended. The other driver was found to be at fault. The other insurance only covered two weeks of me having a rental car. And at the end of those two weeks they still hadn’t gotten my car paid off. I didn’t have a car or a rental. So I reached out to Allstate to either have the insurance cover more or let me use the rental insurance I PAY for. They wouldn’t do either. Weeks and weeks of arguing with adjuster after adjuster. No use. I pay for extra coverage and the can’t even access it. They’ve been so unhelpful and insensitive. I am completely displeased.
