My family has used this Vet for about 20 years. But because of a complaint to said office which was valid they now refuse helping our pets. Office manager is very rude and when she was told of our conversation with front desk the conversation was not repeated in the correct way. She misunderstood or chose to and called client and left a mean voicemail about something that was not said by client. Now even in an emergency situation they would not see our pet who is very sick. They said we are no longer clients of theirs and which vet should they send our Many years of records? Luckily we found a vet to se our fur baby but at the moment she is still at new vet. So I do not know the outcome yet. Even if there is a difference of opinion between vet (not sure he is even aware of problem) and client the vet should **** it up and help an animal (family member) in severe distress. The Doctor there is a good man and has helped us for many years through many fur babies so we cant understand the lack of concern for a patient in pain. This is my opinion and my familys. Such a shame to not do your duty. Good thing hes not a doctor for humans.

All of the staff was so kind to my scared girl. She’d never been to the vet before and was very nervous hearing other dogs barking and being around new people but the techs and vet himself were patient and gentle with her. Another plus was the cost, we had a new patient exam and some vaccines and I was honestly expecting to spend about triple the amount I did but was pleasantly surprised by my cost. I’d definitely recommend Gardendale Pet Clinic to anyone looking for quality affordable pet care.

Update: I decided to give this place another try and took my other pet here. I still experienced a wait after my appointment time, but the vet was more attentive than before. They have also been helpful in approving my prescription pet food orders through Chewy.com. Increased my rating from 2 to 3 stars.

Friendly to pets and pet owners.The doc knows his stuff because he's been around the block. This is a breath of fresh air compared to some of the clinics with newly minted degrees, no experience or common sense.

I have always had a good experience with them. I have two dogs and one is a very anxious type. They handle him very well. There pricing is always fair and I never feel swindled. I board there as well

The vet was alright for just regular yearly shots. The staff is very unprofessional. I have 5 dogs and won't take any of them there ever again.
