DELICIOUS! QUAINT, RUSTIC, HIDDEN, NEAT. The owner was at the front counter greeting and taking orders. Super nice and helpful. Food came out hot and fresh and most of all, amazingly delicious. Jars of jellies, fresh local honey and apple butter, fresh vegetables & few different types of items for purchase. We will definitely come back.

HUGE selection of fall decor - pumpkins, mums and corn stalks outside. Very good prices - mums were $6, $12 and $18 (I think) for sm, med and lg. Inside a cute country store with and especially varied menu. We had the daily special which was awesome - cheeseburger, fries and drink - for $11. Definitely worth the short drive there.

The prices and selection are both good. The staff is friendly. I didn't eat there but I heard that they have a great burger. We will go back hungry next time.

Absolutely awesome! The friendliest family owned and operated place that you will ever visit. Food is also fantastic!

Out riding motorcycle and drove past. Saw so many cars parked along side of the road, i had to turn around to see what was going on. Felt like I had stepped back in time 20 years. AWESOME. It’s late October and I bought some fresh tomatoes and a watermelon that were obviously grown locally. I wish I had been hungry so I could have ordered food, but I will be back. Alabama needs more stores like this

We come here every weekend to enjoy the restaurant and buying our fresh produce and flowers. They have a special every weekend sometimes two or three all the food is off the chain. You owe it to yourself to stop in here it's worth the drive and a cup of homemade ice cream is incredible and the mountain air blows away the calories. After lunch you can go up to Horse Pens 40 on top of Chandler mountain and have a hike out to lookout point. Such a great Saturday experience!

I came across this place accidentally. I passed by on the way to Gadsden and stopped in on the way back. Lots of produce, local jarred goods, and a grill. Known for their burgers. Great local spot that is involved in the surrounding community.

If this isn't the definition of hidden gem then nothing really is. This place is quite literally in the middle of nowhere. Nothing for miles in any direction. Really cool set up, outside is set up with potted plants that are for sale (see pics) and a pseudo farmers market (not tons of stuff, but some fresh farm grown produce). When you go inside they have a small general store that has some staples (I'm guessing for people that live in the area so they don't have to drive to get something the need). But, the star of the show is the food!! It's not a huge expansive menu, but what they have they do it well. My wife went for a pimento burger and added some customizations such as a fried green tomato and bacon. I went for another one of the burgers, the spicy cow - double beef patty, pepper jack cheese, grilled onions and jalapenos (had to add bacon to this one). Nothing about this is small....overflowing with toppings and cooked to blistering hot perfection. This burger really delivers a flavor experience. This place is 100% legit and the prices are good too! Check these guys out, they are worth the drive out to the middle of nowhere.
