I was a student years ago under Linze Rickles McRae, her artistry and direction have always been so admirable, and she has always worked so hard to give her students quality instruction and opportunities. That’s not even getting into the creativity of the productions that she writes and directs; Linze’s oldest daughter Azalea is also incredibly talented and teaches there now, in addition to Ms. Laura and Ms. Cammie who have been teaching and choreographing for years as well. If you have a child that is truly passionate about dance and wanting to experience a pre-professional environment, the Conservatory will absolutely provide that. Upper school students will have opportunities to perform around the country and overseas as well. I don’t think any other studio in the area offers as much to young dancers as DDC does.

I danced at DDC many, many years ago and absolutely loved every minute of it!! I love that I know my little girl is getting quality teaching and care from all the staff while she is there. Every performance is put on with such professionalism, and it is such a joy and always invites your imagination to be put to good use for a while. They also provide so many wonderful opportunities for growth and experiences dancing at DDC. I always recommend my friends to DDC when they are looking for a place for their little to start an adventure in dance! ♥️

It's great really awesome . They are so professional and they teach amazing dancers and there performances are very well put together. It's truly is fantastic. I have only been danceing here for almost half a year now and it is very nice .

My daughter has danced here for four years. They are so very encouraging and supportive of their students. It is a beautiful and creative studio with the best dance instructors and the best recitals. The creativity is out of this world amazing. We love DDC

I take dance at here and it is awsome! My whole family says how much I've improved and I really did from a four year old little girl to a tween whose going to hopefully will get point shoe next year.

An indispensable cornerstone for the creative community of Gadsden. Not only is it fun for my daughter (and myself for yoga classes!) to learn, but each instructor is highly qualified, deeply knowledgeable and passionate about dance and teaching. We absolutely love DDC for their top notch productions, opportunities they provide to the dancers, the inclusion of great adult classes, a beautiful studio space, their dedication to the local community, and especially fun and professional staff that go above and beyond. Very highly recommended!!

This is the REAL deal! I could write pages on our experiences with Downtown Dance Conservatory, as three of my daughters have been with them since DDC opened its doors! We are beyond thrilled in our 13th year with the opportunities and experiences provided by DDC.
