Can't say enough good things about Anthony and Bobby. Courteous, professional, friendly, extremely knowledgeable. Riviera should take pride in the quality and ability of these employees. Thank you for your service in the HVAC and Appliance Repair Department.

This has been the worst internet service I've ever experienced. Intermittent connections, constant download and upload drops, paid for 5G for 6 months when getting half the connection speed I was promised. I can place my phone on top of the modem and it won't connect to the Wi-Fi. Between the data breach of 2022 where tons of customers had personal information stolen, to the incredible week internet connection, to customer service failures, I would use any other internet connection in the area. This picture shows you what your 5G payment gets you

I rarely take the time to write a review but in this case, I'm making the effort. After buying a house a month ago in Fairhope Al, I noticed a secondary surge protector that had caught fire and burned out at some point. The unit was on the outside of the utility box and you I could easily see a fire had taken place at some point. We immediately contacted Riviera Utilities with this concern. Someone answered the phone on the first try. An actual live person! After answering the questions and providing all the information, we were told they would send someone over to review the issue. A utility truck shows up within 30 minutes. They took our concern serious. It turned out to be a minor issue which was promptly fixed and provided peace of mind for the family. Call and someone showing up in 30 minutes. Probably not the norm but a great experience just moving to the area. Thank you! New Rock Creak Fairhope Resident.

So how in the hell can the usage go up this much with nothing changing from the previous month. Well maybe it has something to do with Riviera is the only source of power in that area so they have you by the sack. Competition will typically stabilize the cost. This is the same company that explained to me that if I didn't have $187.00 to them by the end of the day they were shutting off the power, even after I explained to them I have a elderly parent on hospice that is on oxygen. Of course I paid it, but they seem to have a price tag on human life. ($187.00)...I see why they sit behind bullet proof glass. Thank you Dakota and Courtney

I was late on a bill while out of town and I called repeatedly trying to get someone on the phone with no answer, I emailed riviera letting them know I had a oxygen machine in service in my home, I eventually got someone on the phone on the 13th of December asking for 2 more days as I have a bonus coming from my job and the sorry heartless bastards turned my power off even knowing I had a oxygen machine on in my house, nobody ever wants to answer the phones there as even at 8am(opening hours) u will get a automated recording saying they are experiencing high call volume! Our electric bills must be making for some nice profit with all the new trucks they seem to buy! It's a shame that we only have one service to choose from in foley alabama as riviera is treating foleys citizens as turnips they believe to have one more drop of blood left in them, I would give them 0 stars If it was a option!

The service is bad. We live in Spanish Cove when Sally hit. I have made numerous call to no response. This is September 24 with no power restored. We have a lot of older people with health issues and without power. We were told today that the power was restored and this was a lie.Why did Riviera Utilities not hire Alabama Power or other power companies to help them restore power. They are to cheap to hire someone to help them. We saw Alabama Power and other powers companies returning home on the interstate 65 Sunday returning home. This is unacceptable service when reports are on TV that Orange Beach, and Gulf Shores has power restore because they hired Alabama Power, Arc Power, and other companies to come in to restore power. Maybe the next step is to call the News 5 to see if they can results. With most of the residents living there are 60, 70, 80, and 90 this would have been a priority for Riviera Utilities.

Very unprofessional, we asked to get cable installed and had to wait a whole week , also the cable guy FINALLY came and he acted like he didn't have a clue what he was doing . he told me the maintenance people had to do something in order to get the cable, ok . I got maintenance here they said he was suppose to do everything because they have cable n internet with rivera . Called them to tell them about the issue . They called back saying that the cable guy told them I said I didn't want the cable anymore. Which was a complete LIE because if I didn't want it I wouldn't have paid .. We asked for a refund n we couldn't get it . And they never told us no refunds ..
