Impressive! I was escorted to a private room to get my new cpap. I appreciated this level of confidentiality. The associate had the room prepared for my appointment. She brought to my attention a folder which held information on supply ordering, phone numbers, insurance policies. Forms that required my signature were also ready. So efficient. Thank you for your great service and professional care.

Amazing and kind staff. I was assisted on vacation, after my cpap machine gave up the ghost. I am completely dependent on my machine and panicked because I didn't have a back up with me. I was offered and purchased a machine at a discount and given all the supplies I needed additional at no charge. Med South saved my vacation, my families peace of mind and my life. I love this DME supplier!!!!!

Cynthia and Jay gave me all my products I needed , I’ve never met two more sweet and caring folks in healthcare UNTIL I made my last appointment! I hadn’t NEEDED the machine. I had it until I got over the “ Walking Pneumonia “ I went by ambulance because I couldn’t breathe. I left the hospital 8 days later. Cynthia, who is a Respiratory Therapist and I am sure she meant well, right up until I told her I didn’t need it as even the nurses that come to your home after a hospital stay . They are called Amedisys Medical.
Cynthia came back on 3/28/2024 and saw thiat I hadn’t been using the CPAP machine and I immediately noticed a sour change in her posture. She even knocked over my silver/gold 2 ounce sized bowl with a lot of jewelry in it . She was trying to unplug this CPAP machine and says “ sorry as all she seemed to care about was to get my signature on a AMA and to leave. You know I still have a canister of air and the 2nd part of the CPAP machine since she took the other part. She literally tossed the mask and the hose and threw, not laid it but tossed it on my bed right before she left! I have never had a problem with her before. Maybe she was having a bad day but I have been an EMT, CNA, Phlebotomist and LPN, I’d just as soon slap myself HARD across my face than to EVER have a patient be hurt in anyway with my hands, words or actions!!! I hope she doesn’t treat any other pt I felt after she left. I cried throughout the hour it took me to p/up all my jewelry. What had I done besides not using a CPAP??? God I hope not!!!

In the last months of my father's life, he became reliant on a bipap machine. Cynthia was not just there to set the machine up, but stayed in close contact to ensure all was going well with him. The care that Cynthia and the Med South team gave to my father is the reason I chose them when I had my own need. They are not just an "equipment provider", they are a true CARE provider.

The team of Cynthia Blake ( Respiratory Therapist ) and Jay ( the Oxygen distributor ) are wonderful always pleasant, kind hearted. Cynthia is so informative and is always there if I need her.
Jay is also there if we need oxygen or if we have equipment issues. He doesn't hesitate.
