I just went school shopping for my daughter. Cole helped me find a skirt that we can use. His customer service was above and beyond. So personable and warm. He had me sign up for rewards and I would love to come back. Love the quality of the clothes, too.

This was my very first time shopping here and I must say it was different. At the register, I was told about the bag process of being charged 25 cents paper bag. So I was with my son and since it was a big bag I asked the cashier to put his items in my bag so he wouldn't get charged for a bag. She did okay and I walked away leaving my bag with her. I didn't check my son's receipt until after and he was charged 80 cents for a bag that he had.

Shopped the day after Christmas; it was the first time I shopped at H&M. The store wasn't very busy. I was pleasantly surprised at how helpful and friendly the sales clerk working the floor was. She assisted in taking a sweater off a mannequin and helped fine some sizes we need. Her helpful attitude will bring me back to shop at H&M again. However, the check out was not nearly as pleasant. Apparently it was very bothersome to have to check out a customer. The cashier had the why are you here bothering me body language going on and mumbled when she spoke. To top it off I'm told that H&M has a new policy...points to a small sign. I'm buying eight clothing items but will have to pay for a bag or I can carry my purchases out to the car unbagged. Oh, I almost forgot. I can also buy a H&M reusable bag. The cost for the non-reusable bag is 10 cents each. This is not a great cost per bag but that's not the point. This is supposedly a policy to help save the environment. It felt more like this was another avenue to find additional revenue. If this was truly about H&M wanting to "do its part" to help rid plastics from the environment, wouldn't the campaign/policy be laid out differently? Such as, bring your own bag in or go bagless and receive a credit. The credit could be .50¢ off for every $100 spent or a smaller amount. As an FYI, I'm not opposed to using reusable bags as a way to help reduce plastic usage. I keep reusable bags in my car to use for grocery shopping but since I was traveling for Christmas I didn't have them.

Hard to find things and inventory is scattered throughout. You have to work to find jeans with particular fits. Signs do not match what is hanging or folded. It is an outlet, so maybe I am being too picky. You have to purchase a bag for your items no matter how much you buy. Seemed odd walking out holding clothes and a receipt.
