Owa is a wonderful place! My fiancé and I have a spot here where he even proposed to me. However, they are letting this place become INFESTED with spiders. Like walk over the bridge and you have a built in game to play - see how many spiders you can count. It's all over the outdoor stage- we walked down the pathway and got hit with a spiderweb early on, the bench is absolutely taken over. Most places you walk outdoors are spider infested. I'm so sad about this, as we just left here for a date and my skin is crawling. Owa, PLEASE invest in some sort of exterminator or even just bug spray!

OWA shopping area is a nice place for a walk. We enjoyed some time sitting at one of the outdoor tables. The theme park is a pricey.

It's a nice place but you have to pay attention to their website and find out when they will be open or closed. I've been on multiple occasions only to get there and they have the bridges and entrances blocked off. There likely won't be any signs alerting you to this until you've already parked and tried to walk into Downtown OWA. I would have rated it higher but if I have to wonder each time I want to go if they're going to be open or not then I just won't go that much if at all.

Great vacation with the grandkids!! They loved the water park. Lifeguards were the most attentive I have ever seen at a waterpark! They took their jobs very seriously!

This is only about their hiring process. It’s ridiculous they had me come out twice for interviews and hired me only to tell me my app was sent to owa HR and waited 2 weeks no call then another 2 weeks never called then the place that hired me shut down a month later. Why hire someone somewhere you know is closing. Makes absolutely no sense. Playing with peoples lives and bills and money. I will NEVER spend another dollar anywhere out there! Don’t waste your time applying!

I enjoyed this area with my daughter. Yes, they have some empty spots but this area will definitely be full of businesses soon. Loved the virtual reality store and the Paula Deen's family kitchen.

We celebrated my son's 16th birthday Here. The park was very clean. There was plenty workers throughout the park. We enjoyed the indoor Waterpark as well as the amusement park. The inside of the water park was cool with air conditioning and plenty seating areas. The outside made me feel as though I was on a beach with sand and palm trees surrounding, which is one of my favorite things to do. There were a Lot of shopping establishments, restaurants, and free entertainment throughout. We ended the night with a free fireworks show that took place for Memorial Day. I had a great experience and I would most definitely recommend visiting.

My husband and I visited OWA in the off season and didn't expect much availability for many attractions, such as the amusement and water park because of the time of year. What was surprising, though, was how empty the facility was as a whole. Compared to the nearby Wharf (which is the same sort of facility), there were barely any tenants. While we enjoyed the few stores that were there and open, it was not the walkable shopping/hotel/restaurant experience advertised and we ended up hardly spending time there, disappointing as we paid more for the hotel on the property than we would have elsewhere. The Murder Creek distillery is a can't miss, but we won't bet on spending any more time than that there in the future with such better options in the area.

Don’t waste your money…definitely not all that it’s made out to be and the staff at this warerpark and theme park is absolutely horrible. They definitely need to re-evaluate how they run this park along with the prices until their so called park is complete. The total amount of rides for the money is just not there in my opinion. I’d go deeper but I guess this is prolly enough for now other than the fact that I have been owed a refund for over a week and it’s still processing to see if I’m available for it when it’s their fault I didn’t get to attend the wakepark because they closed it with no notice. My 7 year old daughter has a better business sense and I see why numbers are down at this park this year. Maybe the owners should look into the management of operations because at this rate I give it 5 years and y’all will go bankrupt or be forced to sell.

There were plenty of options for everyone to enjoy, big rides, small rides & shady spots to rest. The indoor park had a great temperature & many slides to choose from. We had a great time. Our group had 8 people, ages 9-75 & we all enjoyed ourselves.

We’re locals and are always wondering when the tourists will discover this place. Maybe they don’t realize how much there is outside the theme park. Downtown Owa reminds us of Downtown Disney, with fun shops and a splash pad and restaurants or to-go stands. There are sidewalks throughout and plenty of places to stop and rest or chat, by the lake, at the outdoor amphitheater, or along the streets.

Downtown OWA is Foley, Alabama's newest hot spot. This pedestrian-friendly downtown area offers shopping, dining and entertainment options for everyone in the family.I always have a great time strolling down the sidewalks, window-shopping at the unique boutiques and grabbing a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants. There's also a variety of entertainment options, from a couple theaters to an outdoor stage where live music is often performed.Overall, we always have a great experience at Downtown OWA and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun-filled day or evening out.plus, with the new indoor waterpark, it is great for the entire family!
