I highly recommend Valerie at Ameritax in Foley. I needed my taxes reviewed to insure correctness after the had been prepared by another company. She was efficient and handled everything!

I would recommend not doing your taxes here. I submitted my W2s & only one was filed. I had to pay extra money to the state. It was given to a complete greenhorn that had no flying clue what she was doing. I did not receive my full refund all at once like I should have. My husband who is a business owner unfortunately decided to have his taxes done also. He is in for it worse since his taxes have not been done & he is complaining he can't get a call back. I will never use this company ever again nor will I recommend to anyone looking to get their taxes done.

I had 3 W2s but Ameritax did not enter one W2 for $25k of income. I noticed it was not included after-the-fact, even though I brought all 3 W2s to the office. Because it was entered wrong, I received $5k from the feds but then I had to amend and give half back. It was a hassle. Today I received a bill for $100 from AL saying I didn't pay enough but I paid what Ameritax told me to pay.

I love AmeriTax. The 1 in Foley. I had a New guy... Kevin Green. He was wonderful to deal with. Answered my questions. Didn't make me feel rushed or anything. Very nice!

Pos, never mailed in my tax return last year. Found out in January this year my taxes were never filed. Even though I paid irs what I owed on time received a $651.00 fine for not filing all because of incompetent accountant. Don't waste your money.
