Have an Odyssey that needed the transmission firmware update. Knew the firmware update was needed before bringing the Odyssey to the dealership. We scheduled an appointment.
Received a call from the service manager telling us that they were several technicians short and running behind, and asked us to re-schedule. We were already near the dealership (more than an hour drive). We decided to leave the van with the dealership and let them take care of the firmware upgrade as they were able.
The dealer did their diagnosis and agreed that the firmware needed to be updated, and recommended changing the transmission fluid three times also, as per the service bulletin.
Had the dealership go ahead with the firmware update, and arranged to purchase the necessary honda brand transmission fluid to take care of the transmission fluid replacement myself.
I was told the transmission firmware update and fluid would run $393.42. This seems very much on the high side of the cost most people are paying for the firmware update and fluid. Even so, dealership, what you gonna do, right?
When we picked up the vehicle the price had changed to $394.38, the transmission fluid was no longer included, and we were charged a fee for the dealership "storing" our vehicle.
When we questioned the discrepancy between what we thought we were getting (firmware update and fluid) and what we got (firmware update, no fluid, storage fee) we were told that, because we hadn't followed their recommendation (opted to keep do the fluid change ourselves), we were billed both for the diagnosis and the firmware upgrade.
This may be the only game in town, even so, stay away. They hook a vacuum pump to your wallet as soon as you walk in, and tend to forget what they said, and charge whatever they feel like.
Update: Four months after I posted this someone from the dealership left a response encouraging me to contact them with the implication that something could be worked out. The number provided is the general number, with no person or department to contact. I believe this reply was to imply to anyone reading this review, that something was done, without actually doing anything. Attempts to work things out with this dealership at the time of the original service were futile. As far as I can tell, nothing has changed.

I called the parts department the other day not sure of the exact part I needed for my Honda civic but the gentleman asked all the right questions told me the part I needed and had it in stock gave me a price. I called around just to make sure I was getting the best price and sure enough they took care of me had all the other part stores beat in price.. picked up the part went home put it on this past weekend and sure enough he was correct it fixed my car Thanks again … I’ll definitely be back !!!

I cannot say enough about Mike Stewart. I have bought a lot of cars throughout my life and have dealt with a lot of service advisors. I have not met one who was as thorough with giving me information about a vehicle. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to make sure he showed me that the customer was first. Based on the type of advisors I have dealt with in the past, he definitely get 5 stars for his willingness and dedication to his job.

I was in the dealership's service dept around the week of July 4. A friend of mine we were visiting asked me to go with his wife to get her car serviced. He usually does this but was unable to and she didn't want to go by herself. We were greeted by Michael at the customer service counter. (They must have made an appt because he already new she was there for the service) He was very nice and patient. I think he could tell she was nervous. Anyway, long story short, they took the car back asked if we needed anything. In a short while, the service dept had completed the service. Michael explained what they had done, but also had a list of a few items the techs had noticed. None of them were serious enough to need to be handle immediately and Michael gave her the list, clearly explained what was on the list and contact information for her husband to call and discuss.
I spent almost 40 years in sales and sales management and was very impressed with the professionalism and courteousness she was shown. This type of service and attitude does happen by chance. She commented to Michael that she really appreciated it and would feel comfortable coming back herself next time and there definitely would be a next time. Good Job Guys!!!

A+ service. I had a great experience while passing through from out of town and needed work on my tires. I was helped by Michael Stewart and he was very informative and provided excellent service. Fixed my tire as well as a multipoint inspection. Everyone was very nice and professional. I had an excellent experience.
