Summer Latham is a vet here, she is a rude, belittling, hateful, money driven, thoughtless human being. No beside manor or professionalism when it comes to pet owners or the pets. Treated our daughter in law like she was stupid, cut her off during conversation about her cat who was dying and more concerned with the fact that the emergency vet was mentioned that couldn't help the pet, due to the power outage after arrival. Made the whole visit for my daughter in law uncomfortable. She was already torn up about the cat, and then made to feel like if she couldn't spend thousands of dollars, then the pet was nothing to her. Told the assistant in the hallway that she didn't know why the cat was even brought in, because it was almost dead anyway. Horrible woman, sorry excuse for a human being and will never take animal to that office ever. My family used this clinic for years, now just not the place for your animals or your peace of mind.

Dr. Emerald Barrett is a GEM, pun totally intended. My beautiful baby just turned 16 in October and she wouldn't be here without Dr. Barrett. Piggy, my Jack Russell/Beagle mix, suffered from oral sarcoma and Dr. B got us in touch with the BEST surgeon. Although my love lost her bottom jaw, Dr. B helped us train her to eat and she's alive and well! I cannot recommend Fisher Animal Hospital enough. They are so kind to my puppy and they know her by name. A lot of people don't understand what pets mean to us but the staff here "gets it." I would give 10 stars if I could.

The employee at the front desk with red hair walked away from the desk when I was speaking to her. When she returned I tried to explain my dog was fearful. She rolled her eyes and said just tell them in the back. She is a rude person and not a good first impression of your Animal Hospital. It doesn't matter how good the Doctors are if the rude, short, dismissive and eye rolling front desk employee runs the patients off.

I wish I could give more stars to Dr. Fisher and his staff! Every person at this business is top notch. My cat passed away recently after a brief illness and they treated me and my kitty with so much compassion. Their bedside manner was far superior to any other vet I've visited in the past. I can't say thank you enough to everyone at Fisher for helping me through this difficult time.

You couldn't ask for a better experience for our dogs. While temporarily in Florence, AL for 6 months, due to my husbands job, this Veterinary Hospital was highly recommended by another Veterinarian in town when we needed dog boarding. The staff is super accommodating, sweet, and loving toward all animals. Our dogs get excited when they hear they are going to Fisher camp. They can't wait to see their favorite staff members in the kennel and run and whine when they see them. We have boarded at other facilities, where our dogs didn't feel comfortable and showed signs of stress approaching the door. I am certain that Fishers is doing what it takes to make our dogs happy during their stay. The dogs come home so happy and content we noticed. I love the Veterinarians here also when we have had a couple issues with the dogs needing treatment. For the services we have had, they are also reasonably priced. They also are helping the community animal shelter in several ways, which tells you their commitment to helping animals in need. Thank you for one of the best experiences Fisher Animal Hospital! We will miss your superior pet care, boarding and staff!

I have nothing but good to say about these people !! Have been using them on and off for 11 years. My new adoption ( Teddy ) was heart worm positive and they guided me through the long tedious process and cured him to full health. They treat both of my dogs wonderfully ( Stimpy can be testy sometimes) but they take him in stride. I know a couple of the Doctors and three of the receptionists there and a they ALL handle things the way they should. Taylor is very sweet and helped calm me down when I got nervous by talking with me and taking my mind off of the stressful situation with the heart worm bout last year. I read these reviews and some of them I totally do not understand. Just remember sometimes a little mental armor may help you deal with any negativeness on the phone and that people run into bad days sometimes, we all do. I visited there just today to buy meds for my dogs ( Sara brought the meds out to me and was very nice. I saw the new facility and it looks AWESOME........Thank you Smith Animal Clinic for years of wonderful service !!

I have taken my cats, and now my dog, to these vets for years. The entire staff has always been courteous and made me feel like they really care about my pets. The doctors are excellent. Would highly recommend Fisher Smith.

First off, I can not comment on the doctor or the facility. They may be wonderful. However, I can tell you that customer service and basic manners are a no-go with the person I spoke to named Sarah. I asked her how she was, she said simply "busy". I can definitely understand being busy but you still need to help your clients to happily. They are afterall, the people that pay your paycheck. I asked a question of her and she put me on hold without asking first. She said simply "hold" then clicked off the line. Then when she picked the phone back up, she rushed me through my question as quickly as possibly, extremely rudely. Then as I tried to say thank you and goodbye, she literally just hung up on me without saying goodbye or thank you or anything. I am shocked anybody would make an appointment there if they are that rude when you try to call to make one.
