I brought my car here in good faith to check for possible engine problems. He told me the hose was missing and then charged me $250 plus $10 cc fee. When I asked for a break down on parts vs labor he said he couldn't remember and said I need to call auto zone. No diagnostic nothing so I had to take it elsewhere and they told me the part was marked up 100%. I will NEVER use this shop again & I highly suggest you avoid this shop especially if you want someone to be honest with you and not waste time or money.

Really hated to do this. I came to this shop based on good reviews. The owner is nice, and was willing to immediately look at my car. He did look at it, changed out a few small things( filters, spark plugs) and then kind of gave up on my car. I paid 300 and did not get a diagnosis, and left with very minor repairs, which still didn’t fix it. I also left the car there an additional week, after he offered to look at it more, but then after calling once and finally stopping by I was told they didn’t have a chance to look at it again and was recommended to another shop. This felt very disappointing due to the fact that I had already paid $300 and was just hopeful that they would at least help to diagnosis what was wrong. The shop he referred me to refused to even look at it( not his fault) but after taking it to another person we discovered it was the fuel pump. I just felt like for $300 we might could have had that fixed initially, but instead my car sat out front for over a week without even being looked at again. I’m happy to pay for anyone who is willing to try to help, but I’m not rich and this ended up costing me a lot more than I felt like it should have. You live and you learn I guess.

My transmission started slipping and leaking so I googled who works on them before I replaced the whole thing. It only took a couple days to get my car in and it was up and running the next day. Also don’t think I could’ve beat the price here give him a call!

My AC went out in the hottest week in July. Everywhere I called said it would be a week+ to get me in just for a diagnosis. Lynn got me in the next day, fixed my AC along with a couple of other things, had me back on the road in less than 3 hrs. The price was right as well.

Everyone needs a mechanic they can trust, and I've found that with R&J Auto. Lynn took the time when he was packed solid to give me personalized advice even though I didn't have an appointment yet. He's a good man who does honest work.

Finally a dependable and honest mechanic. I have wasted so much time and money at other locations while my son is attending college there. It's hard when they are over 2 hours away and vehicle breaks down. RandJ had solved that problem for me.
My son's truck would not shift gears. He took it there and it was fixed and a brake job performed in 1 day. They called before repairing and confirmed problem. The cost was cheaper than previous minor repairs at other locations near UNA (see review on MEINEKE).

Wonderful service. What else can you ask for. My son attends UNA and I’m not familiar with the area. He called me one night and said his car was overheating. Based off the reviews I chose R & J shop and had his car towed there. First they set a very reasonable expectation of when they would be able to look at it, which I appreciated. So when they called the same day and said the car was fixed. I was both pleasantly surprised and amazed. They told me exactly what had caused the problem, already had it fixed & at a great price. I’m a fleet manager and manage several equipment shops. This type of service is hard to find anymore. I loved the honesty and even more importantly a repair that will stay with the life of the car. One less plastic piece.

Our vans starter went out and R&J Auto was so great about getting us in and out as quickly as possible and for the right price. Everywhere else in town was almost triple the price and had wait times of several weeks. Thank you for your quick and excellent service! We will definitely be using R&J in the future.

Fast service and good prices. My daughters car needed a new starter and less than an hour after getting towed to R and J I got a phone call they were already working on it. On a Saturday afternoon. No nonsense, straight to the point. Definitely will use R and J again.

Engine light came on just days before a trip and it was a thermostat issue. I picked R and J strictly based on google reviews and I’m so glad I did. Trust those reviews guys!!! I told Lynn that I was going out of town and had to figure out if I was going to be able to use my vehicle or needed to come up with a plan B. Although he was super busy that day, He was able to squeeze me in and 2 hours after dropping my vehicle off he was calling to tell me it was ready. Extremely nice guy and very reasonable price. This gentleman just earned my business in the future and anyone else that I can steer in his direction!! If you need auto repairs, go see Lynn. You won’t be disappointed!
