You can go anywhere for routine care and get decent service. But when an emergency and/or urgent situation comes up, that’s when the service you receive really matters. And sadly, Rankin left me and my fur baby hanging. Lilli is a 12 y/o, 3lb rescue that developed what initially seemed like some typical allergy responses that suddenly escalated into what appears to be a respiratory infection. While a larger dog could handle maybe a couple of days of not eating while waiting for an appointment to open up, a 3lb senior dog might not fare as well. I get there aren’t any appointments, but to not help me with alternatives, just “sorry, bye”, is poor care and flat out “we don’t care”. I will give my “routine” care money to another vet that is willing and able to at least guide me to help if they’re unable to provide it, when the urgent situations arise.

These people will gouge your wallet! I needed to get a male stray neutered and Rankin wanted over $500 to neuter a male cat.
