PLEASE IMPROVE VACUUM POWERThe vacuum power at this location is horrible and almost unusable. I live 3 minutes from here and frequently find myself on a 30 minute round trip drive to Rich’s Car Wash on 98 for quality customer experience. The worst part is that doing this is usually faster than attempting to achieve a satisfactory level of cleanliness at Pit Stop in Fairhope.I rarely write reviews, however the lack of power in the vacuums at this location creates a major disservice to the value of every $ spent there and the Fairhope community.

Unfortunately this was a pretty disappointing experience for me. Vacuums work maybe 50%. Wash quality seems lackluster, soap and greasy spots left on paint. This has been my experience the last three visits over the course of the past 6 to 9 months or so. This is with the top end $25 wash.Seems mainly like a management and quality assurance problem that the owners should address.

I was billed 17.95 three months in a row and didn't sign up for service. Back last year, 2022, I did a 30 day $20 special. I told the man who pitched the sale to make sure it wasn't auto billed. Only wanted the 30 days. I used my debit card this past June and didn't know it restarted billing. Got 3 months straight billing. I went thru in Sept or early Oct and paid $20. I called after discovering what they did. Refunded one 17.95.

I was coming back from Fairhope the other day, saw this carwash and decided to stop by. Overall, had a great experience. I did notice that the rails / tire guides have a thick plastic shielding to keep from marring your wheels.. it was really evident and GREATLY appreciated. I've got a Model Y, and its easy to get a bit of curb rash on the wheels, so I'm always on the lookout for a carwash that I don't have to worry about messing up my wheels. Yay!Payment was easy, there was a worker out doing the pre-soak / spraying bugs, etc.. good foam, good soap, good sprays, and lots of forced air at the end to speed dry time.!They have lots of spaces to do vacuuming with both types of nozzles, wide for the mats and such,, then thin for crevices!Overall, great experience and I'll definitely return.Services: Vacuuming

Deceptive company. When you pay $5 more for car washes for a month, they don't tell you they will be charging you 17.95 each month thereafter automatically. The guy who signed me up never told me that. Probably would have gone back but not now. Guess this is the way they make money by deception.

Y'all were offering free washes if we brought our pet. I decided "Why not?" So happy I went. Staff was very sweet. Even gave out doggie treats. My car came out very Shiney, but I was most impressed how clean the wheels were. They are usually the most difficult. The towel station was a plus too. Thanks for the free offer. I'll be back.

Went through PitStop car wash this afternoon in Fairhope. Car wash completely broke off my right side passenger mirror on my Lexus — car was in excellent shape before PitStop Carwash.Workers always pull mirrors in, not this time. I don’t work there, not my job.I didn’t realize until we heard a “pop” noise and saw damage. Mirror completely spins around and will not stay on.Worker, named Belle said “not their fault and will not compensate damage.” Intend on proceeding to get damaged mirror repaired and compensation.Would like to be contacted by Corporate asap.

This place is so hard to deal with. We used to get occasional car washes there since it was near our house, and we realized that they were charging us a monthly membership fee of $24.95. We never signed up for a membership and never received a membership barcode/ pass or anything. It was so much work to cancel it, and after they finally confirmed it was cancelled and sent us an email confirmation of the cancellation, they still continued to charge our card the monthly fee. After two more months of being charged and no luck with Pitstop corporate recognizing the issue and refunding us, we disputed it with our bank and had to cancel that debit card. Their customer service at the Fairhope office and with corporate is horrible, and we’re never using this car wash again. I would recommend staying away from this place even though it’s the only one in the area!

For years I've had subscriptions with Pitstop with no issues. But when I sold one of my cars, I needed to cancel one of my subscriptions. For some reason, you cannot cancel your subscription at your local PitStop, do I called their main office and spoke to Cara. She told me she would need the label number, which I didn't have because it was on the car that I no longer owned. She then asked for the other two sticker labels so she could determine which one to cancel, which I couldn't provide. That's when Cara told me she could not cancel the subscription. I figured I'd wait to handle this when I get back in town from anextended period of time .But after thinking about it further, I called back and told Cara I decided I would go ahead and cancel all three subscriptions. Her next option, which was not mentioned before, was she needed the last four numbers of the credit card charged for each subscription. Unfortunately, my credit cards had been hacked so my new cards would not match her records. Cara insisted that without either the credit card information or the labels for each subscription she could not cancel any of them.I think it's important to note that she was looking at all of my accounts so I could have verified with her any number of questions she needed to ask me but she was adamant about the specific items she needed. Now, it's not lost on me that my name is "Karin". However, I am a reasonable person and cancelling something - anything! - should not be this difficult. Frustrated, I asked to speak with a supervisor. After a long hold, Jennifer came on the line to help me. But she didn't. All she did was repeat exactly what Cara told me, and I repeated what I'd told Cara, so we were at an impasse. Jennifer, now frustrated as well and quite rude, scolded me that if I didn't stop talking over her she would hang up. Obviously after everything I'd been through I didn't want to start all over again with yet ANOTHER PitStop employee. So, I simply said I'd contact my credit card company to block future charges. Jennifer: "That won't work either."Now, I actually think it would, but at this point I'm willing to give it one more try before I go to that trouble. So I finally asked "Is that it then? There's no other way you can cancel my subscriptions for me?"And guess what? There WAS! After thirty grueling minutes and completely exhausted, Jennifer said that I could give her the dates I'd been charged on my credit cards. Finally, something I could provide!Of course it took me forever to comb through all my statements to find the specific dates for three subscriptions and as I provided the information she painstakenly cancelled each one until I found the third date when she snapped "I haven't finished the last one yet!"Since I fully expected her to hang up on me at any time I remained calm until she'd finished every one. Whew! Naturally, not trusting her at this point I asked for a confirmation and she said I'd receive an email. That was fine, but I'd like a confirmation number now, just in case the email somehow...got lost? That's when she told me to just check my spam folder. Three requests for a verbal confirmation later, I finally wore Jennifer down and success! A confirmation number magically appeared. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if she just made up a string of numbers. But the ordeal was over and I thanked her.And then she said : "You have a blessed day". We all know what that means in the South, don't we.So this is your cautionary tale if you're ever asked "Would you like a subscription?"And to PitStop: "Y'all have a blessed day!"

I was very disappointed in my first visit here. I usually use another car wash in the area on 181 and never have issues with the car getting clean but this was a waste of $25 on their top line wash. There were 2 people there and neither bothered to pre scrub anywhere on the vehicle. It was about 45 min before closing so I get being end of day but not like I got there as they were closing. I noticed while vacuuming and took pics while still there of all the dirt still on my vehicle. I won’t bother with this wash again. I gave 2 stars for being open and vacuums worked but the wash was useless.Services: Polishing

Recently signed up for a deluxe car wash and the attendant at the pay station talked me into an extra $5.00 for one month of free car washes. I agreed verbally since that is a great deal. One month later I get an automatic renewal payment from my checking account which I did not authorize. The automatic renewal was never mentioned by the guy at the pay station selling this deal. When I called Pit Stop to challenge the charge, they said they sent me four emails advising me of the "agreement." I cannot find any of the emails. When I asked for the charge to be deleted, she said she could not do that but she could terminate my account...which I gladly agreed to. This is an unfortunate situation since they have a good car wash, but the "selling" of this to me was deceptive in the way it was presented. It looks like I may have to eat the $34.95, but it is the last dollar they will ever get from me. Had they not been deceptive, I may have gone with this deal, but I can't do business with people who are not up front about things. Beware if you use this car wash.

Excellent service. Today I went through and the blond female assistant helped me get through ( another story) and she was so pleasant. Got through the car wash and noticed my rear windshield wiper was dangling. The manager (Garet?) came out, figured out how to reattach it and did it for me. He was pleasant and knew what he was doing! Thank you!
