It's not a bad record store. Some new records and some used material. Worth a look if you're in the area.
Additional information: I don't feel I was being dismissive, I did recommend that people visit but based on the owners response I will shop elsewhere.

Last summer, we took a family vacation to Gulf Shores.
While the family hung out at the beach, I opted to take a day to venture out on my own to find some local record shops. After a Google search, I settled on Dr. Music in Fairhope.
When I mapped it out, it's only a little over 30 miles away but given how busy Gulf Shores is, it took me a little under an hour to get there.
It's totally worth it though. They have new releases and quite a few used records to browse too. I love digging through old 45s so I spent a good deal of time looking through their inventory.
I went on a Thursday morning and it wasn't too terribly busy. The lady behind the counter offered up her assistance if I needed anything but otherwise I was left to flip through records quietly on my own.
I spent a good hour in there just going through everything. I ended up buying the 2021 Pearl Jam Record Store Day 12” Vinyl of "Alive". It was still sealed and the price was more than reasonable.
I kept the bag they put my record in and framed it. I have it hanging in my garage now.
Really cool store to check out. Stick around Fairhope for a while too ... it's a nice getaway from the busy tourist areas not far away.

Really nice record store near Gulf Shores! Mostly new vinyl in the $25-$35 range, but also has some VG-Ex quality used vinyl in the $10-$20 range, all well marked as to quality. They also have a bargain bin of cheaper vinyl. A great selection of new and old bands too! The owner was super friendly. Definitely give Dr Music a visit if you’re a vinyl lover and in the area!

A very nice record store located in downtown Fairhope, AL. They sell both new and used vinyl and classic audiophile gear like turntables, speakers, and amps. A great selection for any musical taste.

Dr. Music is owned by a fantastic guy who knows more about music than anyone I've met. His store is a treasure trove of vinyl records and all things music. Make sure to check out his Sonic Suitcase line. I love mine! A plus experience!

Like walking back in time to my audio days from 1980. Very knowledgeable help. Will be my new favorite spot to browse, and get repair parts. Had several pairs of my vintage Klipsch Heresy there. Neat place. Thanks.....JD

Just a fabulous record store. Traveled from N. Alabama (Hartselle) to the Gulf Shores area and spent a day in Fairhope. So glad I found Dr. Music. The new and used selection is top notch while the prices were very fair.
Got to spend some time speaking to the owner and really enjoyed doing so. Very genuine and helpful.
A must visit for any music lover while in Fairhope!

Excellent record store. Visited the area and spent a day in Fairhope. The selection of both new and used vinyl is very good and the used selection is well maintained with useful descriptions. The owner is incredibly helpful and just seems like a really good person. I was fortunate to have had the time to talk to him for a few minutes. Whenever I'm back in Fairhope I'll be sure to pick up some more records at Dr. Music.
