“Amazing place! My friend had been before and referred me to them and I got an appointment scheduled for them to take a look at my car and see about doing a muffler delete. After I got there I was able to wait in the very nice waiting area which had couches and beverages. Not only did they look at it quickly but they were even able to go ahead and do the delete in the same visit and for an amazing price! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Don't hesitate to come here!”

I came in to get 2 tires replaced as they were showing concerning visible wear and tear. I also had them inspect my other two tires as I had been told by Mavis earlier this morning that they were dangerous to drive on and also needed to be replaced.
Despite having the opportunity to upsell me on tires I didn't need, Mike, conducted a thorough inspection of my tires and informed me that the damage was purely cosmetic and that my tires were perfectly safe to drive on. As for the other two, he said that while they were old, that the tread was "like new" and and the tires were also safe.
What truly set this experience apart was Mike's approach; he offered advice as if it were for his own vehicle, focusing solely on what was necessary and best for me. His honesty is commendable.
I am immensely grateful for the respectful and courteous service I received and when my tires do eventually need replacing, I will be returning to Southern Rubber Tire.
They also kindly checked my sister's tires, who had followed me to give me a ride, and while they are close to being in need of replacing, they told her that she probably had 5-10K miles left and that it wasn't urgent.
Their commitment to genuine, customer-first service is refreshing and highly valued - especially in an industry that so often attempts to take advantage of women.”
“I took my car in a few days earlier to have the spark plugs changed because I didn't want any problems on the road to see my new grand baby. As I was preparing to leave on my trip, my car started acting funny. I called Car Care and told me to bring it right in. They worked me in and replaced my battery that had seen better days. I made it to my destination without any problems. A small problem, but greatly appreciated.”

“We traveled from Maryland for the Thanksgiving holiday and needed some work done on our Volvos prior to driving back home. The owner Alex, waited for us to arrive although it was near to their closing time. Once we arrived he was efficient and knowledgeable about our cars. Repaired the Volvos and made sure sufficient air was in our tires in record breaking time. We drove back to Maryland without any issues. Great place with exceptional service! If we lived near Birmingham Alex at GTech would be our only mechanic!! Two thumbs UP!!”

As a matter fact, I haven’t even talked to him for some reason I saw their sign and I saw Toyota written somewhere and I’m restoring an old Toyota supra. So I thought I’d look them up and I read these reviews.I’m 2 1/2 hours away, and when I get ready to get my supra or any of my cars worked on, I’m gonna try to bring them to these people. “I had some wheel bearings replaced and my schedule was pretty busy. I was able to drop off my car after hours, communication was very prompt via text messaging, a quote and the payment was all handled via a text message with easy to follow links and instructions. They finished the work in less than a day. I was able to pick up the car after hours as well. The communication was extremely convenient.”

“I have only used Jim & Jim's Body Shop once at the recommendation of a former co-worker. I went there after calling because my driver side mirror was broken off. Instead of paying lots of money to have it replaced, they simply glued it back on. This didn't last very long unfortunately, but longer than having duct tape on my car. I eventually had to have the whole mirror replaced, but overall I was pleased with the work they did.
I didn't find the business rude by any means. They were a courteous staff, and got to work on my car as quickly as they could. I'm soon to have future body work needed on my car due to a car accident, and I'm considering using Jim & Jim's again because they are close to home, and I had a pleasurable experience during my last visit.”

“I was referred to GP&G by Jerry's Transmission in Hueytown as one of the best mechanic shops in the area. When I arrived the owner said it would be two weeks before they could look at it. It did take two weeks but then my car was fixed in a day and they did an oil change. They fixed the sensors, steering column, and crank shaft. The staff is friendly and honest and the prices were more than reasonable. My car is driving as if it were new. They even delivered my car to my home a few miles away when I couldn't make it there on time from work. I would highly recommend them as they were worth the wait.”

“I’ve been coming to this car wash for a while (almost 5 yrs on & off .. even when the blowers weren’t working) but the blowers are NOW working & im so glad they fixed them! I like the new upgrades! They even have a scrubber that washes the back & front bumper really well! I appreciate that because I don’t have to wipe off the left over dirt streaks & bugs from the front bumper. The vacuums are ok .
My only gripe is that the owner needs someone to clean up the over running trash cans & trash in the bay areas .”
