“We’re a Family of 6. Booked a last minute emergency stay to evacuate for Hurricane Milton. Everyone was so kind!! Our room was clean and comfortable. (We evacuated here 2 years ago as well) Eufaula has become our home away from home. I’m grateful to have met such lovely people.”

One of my friends was bitten by something. Toilet seat was loose. We were moved to another room which had roaches. We were up at 3:00 am cleaning, disinfecting and spraying for roaches to make room stayable as there was an event going and all hotels were booked up. Asked hotel manager about fixing toilet seat and he never followed through. shower curtain rod was improperly installed which meant curtain hung incorrectly and water sprayed all over the place. Staff was good though and helped with what they could. Manger said he would discount bill , he did but was not even for one full night after all we'd gone through”

The rooms seemed fairly clean, but for our 2 night fishing trip stay, there was only one soap bar and just shampoo for the shower. The bathroom in my room was laid out a little weird, which put the light switch far from the sink. The power strip on the nightstand had a USB port that had been completely destroyed. Overall the room looked to have been updated in recent years but had left some things undone or just thrown together. The parking is pretty tight for boats when it gets full, but there are power outlets spaced out around the outside edge for battery charging. The only major detration was the bowling ally/skating rink next door to the south that had an insanely loud sound system, and if you are a light sleeper, it may make it hard to sleep especiallyon the southside of the building. I would probably stay here again given the chance to visit Eufaula AL again.”
“Awful manager. Cussed my at my wife after she thanked him. We contacted Wyndham and filed a report. Anyone interested in seeing it how rude and just heartless this guy is, I got it all on video.”
“We loved the lake cottage. Beautiful view. Area was quiet even with all cottages full. The cottage is a little dated and could use a refurb. Microwave was out of order but they did put provide a mini countertop model. No room to do any cooking. And minimal cooking pans/utensils. Not a sheet pan or even tongs. But still we managed. My only complaint is would be checkin. The two young ladies at the desk were more concerned with the young men there than helping us. The one girl sat back down at her computer and could not even be bothered to greet us. The other girl while talking to the boys asked for my name. Gave me a paper to initial and handed me our key. That was it. We didn’t get a map of the resort, we did not get told the location of the cabin, we did not get told about any of the restaurants, nor were we told the Wi-Fi password. Fortunately we figured most of it out for ourselves because they were both useless. Very sad customer service. We would still come back just because we did enjoy the lake and surrounding areas.”
