Edit- you wrote your response to make it look like you were going to help and then never contacted me back. So thank you for that.When I went in the store to buy something I had no less than 3 people trying to help me in the span of 5 minutes. So points for that. However, I bought something and ended up not needing it. Unfortunately the shopping bag that had the receipt got thrown away. I asked if I could return it and was told no. I felt the cashier and the manager (who I didn’t even ask to speak to) were kind of short with me. The item was an unopened drawer slide and maybe $15. I do find it interesting that the guy helping me pick it out said I could return it even if it was opened just make sure to tape it up nicely and never said “make sure you have your receipt”. Most stores would accept such a return even if just for store credit. I won’t be shopping here any more.

Went there today to fill a 30 lb Propane bottle. After filling I was told the bottle took 9.4 gallons...thinking about it on the way home, I remember from my time pumping propane ( summer 2022) that a 30 lb propane bottle 7 gallons, 7.4 when venting. So how did they get 9.4 gallons into a 7.4 propane bottle? They didnt....they ripped me off for 2 gallons.... we certainly won't be going into Paris Ace Hardware. Oh by the way, we called the store and was told " maybe our machine isn't calculating right" WHAT? so just let it go, don't check to see if it's calibrated, after all the difference is in your favor. When calling the store, they did offer to refund the difference, but hell...thats a 20 mile round trip. The employees have terrible attitudes, its obvious they hate customers....STAY AWAY FROM PARIS ACE HARDWARE IN SOUTH ALABAMA!!!

So went here today to fill my 30 lb Propane bottle, I was charged for 9.4 gallons. This is physically impossible as a 30 lb propane bottle holds 7 gallons, or 7.4 when venting. We called the store and got the typical attitude with "well I dont know, maybe our machine is not calculating correctly but come back and I'll refund the two gallons" great but we're 10 miles away from this Paris Ace Hardware, so round trip 20 miles, all for their mistake. I've been in there before, everyone has a really bad attitude, seems they really don't like customers getting in their way. My advice is unless you like getting ripped off stay out of any Ace Hardware that says Paris Ace Hardware. There are other places to buy hardware, lumber, and propane without getting attitude and getting ripped off!!

Service is always great. Very helpful with diy projects. Took a leaking hose bib to them and all it needed was a .65 part. Out the door.
