“I love the small business atmosphere, and I find that I always shop local as best I can . The people running it though are just... Overbearing. The old guy in the back office is super awesome and nice! But them up front with their.... Negative outlook and then talk about folks... Just bad business tbh. i. e. Walk in and of course I'm greeted. I say I'm just perusing... then by the third one asking me if I can be helped I give and ask "do y'all have any coping saw blades?" This man responds to me with "whatcha need a coping saw blade for?" Ummm "to help cope with my life?" Aye yai yai... Still... I put myself through it every time bc I am all about small local businesses. Period. They just need... Calm down is the best answer I've got. Lol”

“The employee I dealt with was very helpful and very friendly. I had several questions and he answered then all. I felt he cared about my experience and didn't just want me to spend my money and leave. He even answered questions after the purchase. Lots of tools! Good deals to be had here as well!”
“I hired a painter to paint our home in Orange Beach and after seven days, they had only painted 1/2 of a very small home and kept dragging it along. I contacted Orange Beach hardware, after noticing their sign that they paint homes now, and they stepped in and bailed me out. They showed up on the day I called to look the job over, gave me a start date, and unlike the former painter- showed up exactly on the date/time promised. They knocked the job out in 3-4 days and did a great job while doing it. They showed me the paint grade my former painter had used wasn't all that great, got me on a paint grade I needed, and I am very happy with the final results. They really took a lot of pride and care getting it done, and even did any touch ups I detected when done during my "walk around".
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them not only for paint, but for hardware products in general too. As a store customer you can always find someone to help if needed. There is no looking around for missing employees (like in the big box stores) to try and get help- they are there. Great staff, great owners, great painters, and in general great everything! Call them for you next home paint job needed in OBA or the Gulf areas- they are the best!”

“This is a tiny little store but the customer service is excellent.. We have purchased several appliances and our riding mower here and if we have had any issues they have taken care of them.. My husband is always buying tools here whether we need them or not which we mostly dont need anymore.. They have good sales.. I have always like sears and wish they would put a big store here in one of the malls.. This mostly tools and appliances ..But if you need something in that area this is a great place..”
“My AGM battery that I bought two years ago failed on me, NAPA didn't have the same one in stock but could get it but I opted to go with a regular lead acid battery that fit my truck, I didn't have my receipt but they took my word on when I bought it and gave me credit on it. They also installed the new one while I waited and took just a few minutes to do it. Thanks NAPA.”

“Just like the candy store is to a child Harbor frought is to a man, any man will be able to find something he needs in this store, The only thing that keeps me from going more often is they are just a bunch of games and they are trying to force men to play their little coupons game and just like so many companies these days harbor frought has succumb to the lowest form of scum, they're all about advertising their products at the lowest price and you get to find out when you get to the counter and there's a long line of people who are all looking at you like dude hurry up so I can go get nowhere fast that's when they tell you that you have to have a coupon to get the price and they are just going to run themselves out of business and I have literally just about had it with these local companies, I've been trying to keep my money within my community but they're just making it too difficult to deal with the hassles their stupid little games and so called policies well I guess they are going to be just fine losing the $50,000 in sales over the last few years because I have been getting better deals from online retailers and I don't even have to risk my life in traffic or getting pulled over and harassed by baldwin countys over funded corrupt police force, I have on occasion over the past 20 years and tried to give my business to a local from tires to weedeaters and I will be honest with you I would stay home and look online like i have done for the past 20years you will pay much less and it will be brought to you, or if you prefer just go to the harbor frought and play their coupons game, hope that helps, be good now ya hear!”
