When I went by the track the day before the event, I stopped in to meet whoever was around. And then it began. The friendliest folks you want to meet. I traded some stories to of my dirt days. I received a hat and some information. And I went to the event and camped. I thought that the racing in the northeast was exciting, but this place has changed my opinion a bit.Super late models fly. Track prep amazing and that red clay is the way. People are friendly in the stands,and they try to accommodate everyone. I'm still here. I will be here for the Nascar at Talladega. But I will be returning here. They do move things right along,and the drivers don't mess around trying to Buck the system. Or the black flag comes out. If you are in the area stop in to see Ray ray and the young lady who will help you till you get here. And I hope her son is feeling better. Thanks to all of you folks at Talladega Short Track. I will return. And I can't forget the preacher. . And I forgot to mention that the dirt doesn't impact your viewing like up north. It sTalladega Baby and the Red Clay??

One of the most prestigious races of the year. Dega Icebowl lives up to it's name. Such a honor to be apart of Adam Stewart's events. I recommend everybody attend this race every year on the first weekend of January you'll thank me later for it.

We were just in town for a night and saw the trucks/cars pulling in. MY husband and my kids had never been to a dirt track race, so we decided to go. The ladies at the ticket booth were so sweet and helpful!!! We have told everyone it’s a must see if in the area. Also they had trick or treating which was a wonderful surprise for our kids!
