I've been going to dollar general for years. Convenient location, good prices. A little disorganized at times. Constantly hiring new people. Still comes in handy when you just need a few things.

This store is very poorly stocked actually not much of anything on the shelves. If you buy wine they will card you every time, even though the law states if you look under 30 you need to be carded. I haven't looked under 30 in over 30 years. The turn over is high as every time I go in this store I never see the same staff.

New location on South Oates in the best Dollar General in town. Very clean and organizedA couple years later I need to say this Dollar General has gone down hill. It is not stocked very well so it doesn’t have everything another Dollar General would have. I also I went in there and when I went to check out the girl at the counter was on her cell phone the whole time. This will be my last choice to go for small things again.

South Oates Street. I was discriminated against. I was waiting in line for the black lady at the counter to finish checking out with the black cashier. Another black lady walked up behind me. After a minute she walked around me and put her stuff on the counter. The cashier started checking out the lady's stuff behind me with me standing at the counter with my stuff. I'm white. Want to talk about reverse discrimination, I witnessed it. I put my stuff down and left. I'll be looking into that.
