I frequently visit this CVS location. The staff is always friendly up front and I routinely see them helping people with the self check out.The pharmacy in the rear of the store is top notch. Incredibly knowledgeable staff that is also friendly and accommodating. They are very organized and know what's going on with my prescriptions before I do. If I was only eating this pharmacy they are an easy 5 star.The reason I gave this a 4 star is because the candy is so dang expensive here. 2$ for a box of hot tamales is too much. Everywhere else is only 1$ and since hot tamales are my favorite candy I have to mention this.

Self checkouts are not self checkout cashiers are required to check you out. But they are not allowed to check you out behind the counter. This is what I was told. When I asked to check myself out at the self check the cashier hovered over me. I understand this is probably their answer to loss prevention. However, if they are going to require the cashier to check everyone out, put them behind the counter. I don’t want someone reaching over me to check me out. I don’t have any privacy entering my PIN number when the cashier is shoulder to shoulder with me. The cashier is in my personal space when check me out.If this is your policy that the cashier has to check everyone out at the supposed self check out just remove the self checkouts. Because there is nothing self checkout about it.

I stopped using CVS a few years ago and I’m glad! My daughter had a prescription called in for the flu and held on the phone after going through all the annoying prompts (wouldn’t let you go back to the menu) knowing they were closing at 1:30 for lunch. At exactly 1:30, I heard the phone pick up and hang up! It would’ve only taken 2 minutes to answer my question! Will not use them ever again!

why have someone to watch you use self check. If I want to be a cashier I would apply for a job. We should get a discount for working for you.\n when I ask the person watching me check out she said that that is the way it is and if I did not want to use self check out then I needed to shop else where, so I will for now on. I did record her saying it to and will post it on all my accounts.
