Great stay,quiet,good beds and pillows,neat and clean,staff very friendly,very reasonably priced.enjoyed the experience

Nearby activities: Many restaurants, shopping ect
Safety: Well lit,cameras
Walkability: Can walk to several restaurants and shopping
Food and drinks: Had a little bar that had a pretty good crowd ,think they were having kareoke. They shut down pretty early

This would have been a better experience had anything worked in my room upon my arrival. My TV did not work and neither did my telephone and somebody had to come out, and fix it. My first night there, I was in bed watching Netflix on my iPad when a nail fell out of the ceiling and onto my head. I thought it was a bug. Suffice it to say, do not book here! Pay the extra for a decent hotel.

Me and my family stayed here during Hurricane Milton. The front desk gave us missed information and did not gave me toilet paper when I ask. He lied to me and he had a toilet paper Box right next to him.
The reason I gave this review a 5 Star is because the Owner of this Hotel was extremely polite and help us with all our needs thru all our stay. Same with the second floor maintenance. Mrs Angie and her daughter treated us above and beyond expertise.
The room was clean. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was good.

This place is filthy! My daughter and i came here to get away from hurricane… shower only gets lukewarm, dirt all over the floors, ac in bedroom blows warm air, microwave went CRAZY when we tried to use it, had to clean the room myself. Its like the house keepers have never cleaned a day in their lives. I’d hate to see what their homes look like ???

Hotel currently under renovations. Updated rooms, fresh paint, comfortable beds and quality pillows. Satisfactory hotel passing through a not so populated area. Will stay again if I need to.

The motel itself good I thought,but before getting to room. My guest was approached by Dothan Police Department sitting in car waiting on key .Taken out of vehicle searched an arrested. Police said not a good place. After getting her out we stayed that night.But decided to leave the next morning

Although Clarion isn't a very high scale hotel as some others may prefer, the rooms and services are very nice. Do not let the outside fool you the rooms are comfortable, clean and in good order. The attached bar and grill is a great compliment to the hotel as well and stays open until 2am.

No breakfast buffet as pictured. Clothing left in the room. Not clean. Hole in the wall and doors. Sketchy people walking around all night. Tv stand falling apart. Night staff rude. Safety is an issue. Would not recommend.

Extensive renovation on a old as hell property! You Get what you pay for. Front desk staff was very amenable. Bar in property was so-so. Owners of property? Jury out. Good location.

If I could give it a big fat ZERO i would! I was put in 3 different rooms. The first room, the AC didn’t work. The second room was full of dead and living roaches. The third room was a “suite” and the couches in the “suite” were filthy and the AC didn’t work on that side. Half empty water bottles were left inside, so I know it wasn’t really cleaned. I only decided to settle in the suite because at least the AC worked in the room portion. They informed me all 3 rooms should have been blocked off. You can smell the cigarette smoke walking up to each room. The one clerk Star was rude and the sassy GM Clarence was very unapologetic. They wanted me to move to a 4th room to “accommodate” me, but by then I was over it!! I told them I injured myself and couldn’t keep moving my things from room to room. I have videos and pictures of the roaches and nasty couch. They will be posted online. I’ve NEVER experience this type of treatment at any hotel/motel establishment. I wish I could post the videos so you can see how all the bugs came out when the lights turned on.

I would rate this hotel less than a one. We arrived at the hotel and immediately noticed all of the people hanging out! There were cigarette butts everywhere and the entire place smells like a cigarette. We were given a key to our room that did not even work! We tried multiple times, with a suggestion from the front desk clerk to ‘wiggle the handle.” WHAT!!! Who does that!! I went to the front desk and requested a refund!! Also, I did not realize that when I booked online that the place has outside facing doors. To be more clear, you get out of your car and can step right into your room!! I would not recommend this place to anyone! Will never even consider staying there again.
