I called this morning for a gas installation quote at Amerigas. I am a 69year old disabled women for starts. And I have never heard anything like what this lady told me in all my adult life! Quite frankly it really made me ? angry!!! She stated she couldn't give me a quote , now mind you I'm a possible future customer. I'm an all electric home at this time. She said I must have all gas appliances installed in my home and ran to the outside before I can get a quote!!!! What??? That would kind of force me to get gas no matter what the quote was even if it was to high!!!! That is no way to run a business!!! That would be a forced issue even if I decided I didn't want it or could afford it. Then you would have gotten rid of your electric appliances then you would have to buy new appliances and re install them ! I don't think so!!! You won't get many new customers that way.. signed very angry

Called Amerigas for my new home tank fill and they will not sell me propane because I wouldn’t use more than 150gal a year. Ridiculous!!

The service technician gets a 5 star. But amerigas as a company gets 1 star. You wait till the tank is almost empty to come fill it leaving us with a high bill. When I first called y'all I was told that I could be on a plan that where you would come every 3 months and fill the tank, which would have been great..the bill would have been more manageable. But instead now you want me to be on a monthly billing cycle to where I pay you more money than what it will actually cost, that way you can use my money for your benefit. Not happy at all.

I had ordered the gas on line and after several weeks i was just about to call them when the gas truck showed up and filled the tank, good thing it was not cold weather ?

The delivery was very good. Very professional and helpful. The scheduling for delivery was trying. not on the time scheduled.

I was promised delivery within 8 days of ordering. On the third day I was notified the delivery would come on the fourth day. Nothing. On the fifth day I was promised delivery on the sixth day, nothing. On the seventh day I was promised delivery on the eighth day, nothing. On the eighth day I was promised delivery on the ninth day, nothing. On the ninth day no one would answer my contact. On the tenth day no one would answer my contact. On the eleventh day I received my delivery. The driver was not provided ANY of the instructions I had given when I placed the order and had to call to get the information.

Been trying to get a refill since last November,I've called them and got the same answer every time.They never show up or return your calls.The way I see it is that they can come get their rental.

I have no idea how AmeriGas stays in business. I have been trying for six weeks to get my tank filled and all I received was a bill to do inside the inspection and they still will not come out and fill the tank. I had to go to another company to fill the tank because I was moving into my new house I completely don’t understand how you guys treat new customers in the manner that you did. It’s completely unacceptable.

We had a gas leak from our 500 gallon tank and when we called for them to come fix it they came and filled it up with gas without checking for the leak. I had to stop them to check the work order and see why they were there. We decided after that to discontinue services with them. June 14, 2022 we discontinued services for both our 100 gallon and 500 gallon tanks and was told it would be up to 90 days to pick up the tanks. That did not occur. On October 24,2022 I received an email stating that Manley Industrial Gas (a third party) would be coming to remove the propane tanks by 1/31/2023.That did not occur. I have called several times since 6/14/2022 I can never get anyone on the line in the USA. And they can never assist me. They state they "do not know why" my tanks have not been picked up and it is being escalated to that team. This is horrible customer service and also horrible technical service - We changed because there was a gas leak and AmeriGas did nothing to correct it but did add more gas to a tank that was leaking. They never call back and I have never had anyone reach out regarding the escalations.

Amerigas has always proved to be very reliable in person and courteous on the phone. We are very pleased with their service.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!! If i could have selected zero stars I would have!!!! I paid my tank rental a month early. ordered gas which was scheduled to be delivered between the 22-28th of December 2022 ( mind you they took the money for my gas order out of my account on the day I ordered it 12/20/2022 ) I never received my gas. So at the end of the day on 12/28/22 when i didn't get a delivery I called costumer service and asked for a refund and to have them refund my tank rental and come pick the tank up. Its been 15 days their tank is still sitting in my yard and none of my money has be refunded!!!! THEY HAVE KEPT OVER $400 OF MY MONEY WITH NO SERVICE

Horrible, horrible company since they centralized customer service--meaning it is now doesn't exist. Cracked our driveway by carelessly driving off the driveway and will not take any responsibility whatsoever. Avoid this company at all costs. Checkout the Amerigas Facebook groups for all you need to know.
